"Kyo?"

"May I have this dance, My Beloved?"

Still holding my hand he kissed it softly. I nodded and he pulled me into his arms. We glided with elegance as he tailed me around the ballroom. He looked into my eyes, I could see love but also sadness.

"Are you okay? Kind Sir?"

"That I am, after talking it through with York... Yes, all is well... I knew the risk."

"Kyo? Why did you confess to me that you were not the mystery lover?"

"Because I could tell you knew I was not the mystery lover and as I am in love with you harper. I chanced it by placing my bracelet on you... Hoping you had fallen for me too... But it is okay. I will look out for you and adore you from afar."

His words made my heart hurt, but he just smiled brightly at me.

"I heard you were upset and Ace tried to do the same... I am sorry, Harper... I have made you feel sadness like this."

"No, it is okay, Kyo... I did not want to break your heart.. But I did that anyway."

A tear formed in the corner of my eye. Kyo lifted my chin to his face and he ran his thumb across my tear while he smiled. He whispered softly.

"Harper, It really is okay... May I kiss you one last time?"

I nodded and kissed his warm soft lips as they pressed against mine as another tear fell. After the kiss ended we stopped dancing. He pulled me softly into his chest and just held me there. I wrapped my arms tightly around his waist. He chuckled softly as his arms tightened, I could hear his racing heart.

"May I cut in?"

I looked up at Ren smiling at me. Kyo then let me go and Ren took my hand. He kissed the back of my hand then took me into his arms. I looked at Kyo and he gave a small nod and smiled before he kissed my hand with a wink then walked away.

"Have you sorted it out with Kyo, beautiful lady?"

"Yes, Kind Sir."

"Good, now there are only three left to compete for your love... I hope to convince you that your mystery lover is right here."

He chuckled softly as he laced his hand in mine. He took me over to the corner of the room, then handed me a glass of champagne.

"And how are you to do that, Kind Sir?"

He grinned then took the glass from me before he pulled me into his arms.

"By doing this."

The warmth from his lips gilded softly over my skin as he traced the line of my collarbone. My head fell back as he kissed, I melted in his arms and he was very good at convincing. His touch was driving me crazy and my legs gave way. He held me up as he kissed, then pulled his lips away and steadied me on my feet.

"Does that help?"

"Er... Um, Yes."

Ren chuckled as he pulled me into his chest and the sweet sexy rose scent intoxicated me.

"You do also melt my heart, I am crazy about you, beautiful lady."

His lips then kissed me passionately.

"Now who is the one keeping her all for themselves?"

Ren's lips parted from mine as the voice was heard and a hand took mine in his. He kissed it softly then laced his fingers through mine.

"York!"

He smiled as he softly pulled me across the dance floor and took me up the stairs into a private room. We sat together on the bed and he looked into my eyes.
