The Dangerous Flame

Another month has passed since I came home from the hospital and I was fully recovered. York, Ace and Kyo are still fussing over me. I know I scared them all. I felt bad but I had to protect my man from getting hurt. I really thought if I got in between Ren and York, nothing would have happened and Ren would have backed down. It was just bad timing I guess.

York wants us all to go away to spend time just relaxing as a family. I am looking forward to it. I know this will bring us all closer and that is what I think they all needed, just time to relax and not worry about Ren for a while.

York took us to Mexico. He booked a hotel room for just us and separate hotel rooms for Ace and Kyo. We spend a lot of time with picnics on the beach.

I could feel everyone felt more relaxed as the days went on without looking over our shoulders and waiting for Ren's next move. I watched as York, Ace and Kyo messed around in the sea.

I chuckled as they kicked water at each other. York called over to me to join in, but I wanted to relax. I sometimes still had pain every so often in my back from my wound, but I did not want York to worry.

Ace walked over with a sexy smile as he sat next to me on the blanket. I looked at him through my large sun hat. He chuckled softly as he adjusted it so he could see my face. Ace then took my hand in his and kissed it softly as he spoke.

"Is something wrong, my treasure?"

Ace looked into my eyes. It felt he was searching deep into my soul. He took off my sunhat then held it in front of our faces, hiding us from the world as he kissed me softly. I touched his face as he then held my hand and kissed my wrist. The desire in his eye sparkled in the sunlight as he looked up at me.

His fingertips ran along the top of my breasts. I felt just how much he wanted me. His touch made my body shiver with pleasure. I placed my hand on his chest and my fingers slipped inside of his shirt. His lips pressed against mine and kissed me deeply. Our lips parted and I whispered to him as I started to pant softly.

"We should not do this here."

Ace smiled as he pulled away then placed my sunhat back on my head.

"Then I need to get you into my hotel room where we can spend time without you worrying, but back to my first question... Is something wrong?"

"What makes you think something is wrong, kind sir?"

Ace chuckles softly.

"I know you better now, Harper, you are still in pain are you not?"

"There is no hiding anything from you is there?... Sometimes I am yes, but please do not say anything... I do not want them to worry."

"Then you need to go back with me to rest, stay here and tell the others you feel tired and I will take you back."

I nodded at Ace. I needed to spend time with Ace. I knew he needed it. I watched him run over to York, he looked over at me concerned, but Ace spoke and he looked relieved. He smiled then watched Ace run back over to me. I smiled back at York as Ace took my hand.

The hotel was a stone threw away, we did not have to walk far. Once in Ace's room, he sat me on the sofa then made me a drink. I watched his sexy body as he stood there pouring the wine. He walked over and handed me the glass of rose wine.

"Are you in pain now?"

"No, I am fine right now, thank you, kind sir."

"Good, then get that down you, It will help."

I smiled as he put on some music. It reminded me of the balls. Ace then looked at me and smiled as he held out his hand. He must have thought the same thing.
