I am Not Okay

The weeks passed and Kyo, Ace and Ren came over more. I enjoyed Ace and Kyo coming over but Ren kept on cornering me more and trying to convince me to leave York. I tried to tell him gently that what we once had was gone, but he will not accept it as I am still not wearing York's bracelet.

The way Ren sees it. He is still in the game to win me... But he was out a long time ago now and he's changed. I can not wear his bracelet just yet as I have to deal with my feelings with Ace and I had to put that off because of Ren. I've not had any time to think.

York decided to cook the food outside today as it was sunny and hot. He stood there cooking away at the BBQ and he was cooking up a feast. I chuckled softly as I watched him. My love for him is so deep and it gets deeper each day. I could never hurt him, that is why it is so hard to say anything about Ren. He looked over at me and gave me a sexy grin.

Kyo came up to me and wrapped his arms around me gently from behind.

"Harper, my beloved is everything okay?"

"Why do you ask, Kyo?"

I looked up at him and he seemed worried about something.

"I sense something is off with you when Ren is around. Has he been touching you?"

I sighed softly and looked away but he turned me around in his arms.

"Please Harper, you can tell me anything and you can always trust me... He has, hasn't he?"

I leant my forehead against his chest, I was too ashamed to look at him and whispered into his warm chest.

"Yes... He will not leave me alone, Kyo."

I felt his arms tighten slightly around me as he kissed my head softly. Kyo went to move but I pulled him back. He looked at me as I held my arm tightly around his waist.

"Please do not say anything to York or Ace. I do not want to spoil their friendships with Ren."

"Oh, my beloved. You can not let Ren do this to you and I can not let him carry on... I care about you and always will. But no friendship is worth this, and I know York will not allow him to do this to you."

"I know but I feel bad. I do not know what to do?"

"It is not your fault, so do not feel bad and I will watch him and stop him if he tries anything else. I will be having words with him... Just stay close to us today okay?"

"I will and thank you, Kyo."

Kyo then kissed my lips softly. I smiled up at him and he took my hand as we walked over to York and Ace. I was not sure where Ren was? I knew he was in the manor somewhere and that made me feel so unsafe.

After a while, we finished the BBQ, so I took in the plates. I started clearing things away when Ren entered the kitchen. He walked up to me with a grin. He took my hand and backed me up to the wall cabinet as before. Oh, no not again.

"Ren, please this has got to stop. I no longer feel the same way. I have told you this so many times. Please accept it."

"Harper you know in your heart you still love me. Just let go of York and be mine."

Ace then walked into the kitchen. Ren pulled away from me.

"Ren, what are you doing to Harper?"

"Nothing, we were just chatting."

Ace then took my hand and pulled me to him. I knew Ace did not trust his words. He held my hand and laced his fingers with mine as he took me away from Ren. We walked into the ballroom. Ace closed the doors and looked into my eyes.
