Continuation of Bounty Hunters - II

This chapter does not appear in the show, so it won't have an episode to be based of.

"It's been too long Doctor, I was beginning to fear that I would not see you before I died." Hemna claimed as he pulled away from the Doctor, "That would never happen." The Doctor claimed, his arm sneakily wrapping itself around Mary's waist, making her throw him a small glare that he ignored.

"You've changed your face." The blue hovering alien commented, making the Doctor flash him his crazy wide and open mouth smile, "It's a clear improvement from your old one. At least the last I saw."  Its eyes then moved to Mary, widening considerably at the sight of her and the arm around her waist, causing Mary to peer down at her feet.

"Did you bring one of your companions to meet me Doctor?" Hemna questioned, his tone clearly amused, "Or is she something more than a companion for you to bring her to me." "Just companion." The two quickly claimed, too quickly for Hemna's taste, but still he smiled at them, an almost knowing smile on etching on his face. "Well, either way, come in, sit down I'll bring you your pie Doctor." he told them, turning around and hovering back to his cafe, kicking the person he had thrown out in the ass as he did.

"When I said buy me dinner first, I didn't mean for you to bring to a friend of yours." Mary snapped, crossing her arms over her chest and looking up at the Doctor, this brought the Doctor's blue eyes down to her, making realize their proximity, if this was a romance movie that she had seen with Rose, the Doctor only needed to lean down to be able to kiss her.

The mere thought of such thing happening actually made Mary's heart race, something she wasn't too happy about.

There was a soft smile on the Doctor's lips, a smile that attracted Mary's eyes to them for a split moment before they returned to his eyes and narrowed. She quickly stepped out of the Doctor's grasp and began to walk inside, leaving the Doctor to follow behind her, "This pie better be heavenly divine Doctor." She warned as she walked into the cafe, successfully preventing the Doctor from saying or doing anything.

Once seated down, the Doctor could see Mary looking around, intrigue shining brightly in her brown eyes, but strangely for him, no questions left her lips, she didn't look nervous or scared to be among aliens, she looked at peace actually which was surprising for a human. This detail only added to his confusion as to what she was, she looked as human as any human on planet Earth, but so did his species.

"You're staring." she commented while she waved at young, seemingly, child that was looking at her from another table, "Observing." he countered, his blue eyes never leaving her, not that they wanted, in fact they always seemed to lock on her figure since they met for some unknown reason.

"Analyzing." Mary smirked, turning her face to the man beside her, a small smile grew on his lips as he realized that he had indeed been caught looking at her, "You're..." he started, his brows falling into a furrow and his lips pursing slightly as he looked at her intently,  "A mystery to me. And I love solving mysteries."

The smile returned to his face but a frown seemed to settle on Mary's face, apparently not liking his words, but she said nothing, she merely averted her eyes and trapped her bottom lip between her teeth.
