Continuation of Bounty Hunters - V

This chapter does not appear in the show, so it won't have an episode to be based of.

A new customer walked inside, gun attached to their hip and dust covering their jacket's shoulders, they had their long dark hair down to the middle of their back and had blue eyes, eyes that scanned the coffee shop before the person sat down. Hemna quietly slipped away from his friend and his friend's companion and hovered over to the bar, taking in the new customer's order.

"You know," Mary started, moving her eyes to the Doctor who was looking at Hemna and the newest customers "You never gave me a tour of the T.A.R.D.I.S." her lips were pulled into a teasing smile as she leaned in on one of her hands, "Indeed I could just wander about but I reckon you wouldn't want me to walk in on you changing, or showering."

Her brown eyes caught the sight of a blush covering the Doctor's cheeks as well as the tips of his large ears, but she also caught the sight of his lips quirking up in a smile as well, clearly having several scenarios cross his mind right there and there. "Get your mind outta your gutter!" Mary laughed before the Doctor could even utter a word, bringing his blue eyes back to her.

"How do I know that you weren't snooping about when I went to save blondie?" The Doctor retaliated, raising his brow at her watching as the human shook her head at him "Do I look like the type of being that goes through others things?" she teased him.

And there it was again, the air change around her, the way she didn't say, human or person, the way that she so casually looked around as if she felt completely at ease with being surrounded by aliens, the way that there was no scowl on her face or a sliver of fear.

That usually only happened when and if they had had previous contact with aliens, or if they themselves were aliens at least that was the Doctor's experience. But humans have had very little to none contact with aliens, at least those that ended well, so that left the question what in the time and space continuum was Mary Holmes?

"How have you been liking your first encounter with aliens?" the Doctor questioned, leaning back in his chair and crossing his arms over his chest, not missing the flash of some emotion on her delicate and humanoid features, "Can't say I have much to complain about." Mary replied, sitting straighter and changing her attitude, closing herself off.

This made the Doctor frown ever so slightly, confused at the shift in her.

"Don't you look like a lovely couple." A new and feminine voice greeted them, prompting Mary and the Doctor to look up at the person, it was the same new customer, neither of them acknowledged the comment that the woman made, resorting to merely looking at the newcomer with apprehension.

"Your children will be gorgeous. Mommy's skin, Daddy's eyes." the woman kept commenting, "May we help you?" Mary quizzed as politely as she could, her brown eyes narrowing slightly in accusation, almost as if she was analyzing the person, which she was actually. "Oh don't mind me, I just love interrupting people's dates." the woman chuckled, shaking her head slightly.
