Jewel stares at the others before her"so..what'd you get in for?"she mumbled"they figured out my power at the circus I worked."a small black girl informed,she had blue eyes a bit darker then Jewel's.
"they found me in the woods,obviously."the guy that spoke had olive skin and aqua eyes with twigs in his black hair.
"They found me practicing my power on a tree,little tip:lightning and metal do not go together."the guy had ginger hair and brown eyes,he was also covered in soot.
Jewel groaned"I was just tossed in with my brother who had powers he never told me about!"she said with a glare at her brother"well stuff like this happens if you tell someone."the girl said"not if you tell me!"
"Well,you do seem to talk a lot.."the girl informed"why you little-the man banged on the wagon"keep it down!"the twig boy sighed"ok,we gotta bust out.we don't know what this king will do to us if we don't."Chris nodded"the problem is we're tied up."
Jewel gave a fake gasp"well what do you know?we are!"The others ignored her as twig boy closed his eyes,his body twitched before it gained a new shape.
Twig boy turned into a snake making the ropes slide off his body,Jewel yelped"snak-"Chris shoved her.
Twig boy bit through their ropes and set the others free,he changed back and stumbled slightly"ok,on the count of three."
"One.."
"Two.."
"Three!"
