Chapter 20

Xander was fighting a tree,no he didn't go insane.

Xander had a branch and decided to use it to practice sword fighting on the tree"you realize you're beating that tree with its arm right?"Molly asked"that just makes it better!"

Xander threw up the branch and caught it,Molly chuckled"you did it wrong."she walked over"did what wrong?"

She took the branch and flipped it in the air,it spinned then she grabbed it as it fell"how did you do that?"Xander asked.

Molly smiled"circus training."she looked at the branch and imagined it was a metal baton,she flinched at the thought"what other stuff did you do in the circus?"

"Well I mostly worked with the animals but I was also their stuntwoman."Molly sighed"I loved it up there in the ropes!"Xander smiled"did you work with swords?"

Molly blushed"here and there,though they were more flashy then fighting."Xander smiled softly"could you show me some moves?"Molly nodded"of course,I'll show you the basics I learned!"

Molly held the bottom the the sword-branch and smiled ok Molly,just like Mel showed you.Molly balanced the hilt on her hand before throwing it up,she spinned and caught it again.

Xander cheered her on as Molly threw it up again,balancing it on her nose with a giggle"you're doing awesome!"Xander cheered.

Molly gripped the hilt and juggled it"t-this would be easier with two."she mumbled with a nervous laugh,Molly the sighed and set the sword-branch down"wow!"Xander cleared his throat"I-I mean,awesome!"he mumbled.

"You like swords?"Molly asked"well I think they're a cool way of fighting,though I could never get one."Molly hummed before seeing a bird"Dillan replied!"she cheered as the bird landed on her shoulder.

Xander watched her open the letter as she smiled then awed"Dillan has some romance problems."Xander chuckled"it's probably you,you two have amazing chemistry!"Xander smiled,trying to forget that moment in the woods.

"Well the funny thing is that it's two people,not that liking two people is funny!"Molly said quickly,Xander chuckled"who are they?"Molly shrugged"he just asks for advice."

"Then get to writing,I wanna know who they are!"Xander said"why are you of all guys interested in who Dillan likes?"Xander blushed"no reason,I'm just curious."Molly giggled"if you say so."

Molly handed him the paper"start writing."Xander sighed"as you wish."

A literal bird told me about your romance problems,well Molly translated.

But anyways,I do hope you're ok with King David running around.

I know Soren's there but I personally don't think he can protect you from whatever he's planning,the dude's bad at fighting let's admit that.

Anndd,who is it you like?I'm curious,ok?is it Molly and Jewel?you know what,Jewel doesn't really like anyone does she?

Anyways,can you at least tell me one person?then I'll leave you alone,I promise.

And I keep my promises until I break or forget them,honestly.

Xander then gave the message to the bird and watched it fly away.
