"We shouldn't be eavesdropping you guys," Yazoryouzo told everyone, trying to get everyone to stop listening to the two male's conversation, yet curious herself.
"I agree with her," Louise said.
"Says the one who's the most concerned about Red," Lynnette snorted.
"Ooh, shots fired," Sero said, following with Kaminari and him laughing.
The group all tries to listen to the two's conversation; the term "privacy" is a foreign friend. Ashido and Sero know the whole story word for word, but even though they could tell everyone what happened, it's not their place to speak. Same goes with Louise, Indigo, Bella, Persephone, and Lynnette as they know the story but not every precise detail, nor do they want to talk. Some things are left unsaid about the whole ordeal, but everyone there admits Bakugo deserves to hear everything.
"How much do you want to know," Kirishima asked, slightly nervous.
"How much do you think I deserve to know, Kirishima," Bakugo shot back, needing answers.
"I guess I'll go back to where it all started then..."

"Hey, mom," Kirishima worried, "are you okay?"
"Yes," she comforted her son, "I'm okay."
It was early March, around the time third-year students were getting ready for graduation. All parents were excited to see their children go off and do amazing things, even if it pained them to see some leave the nest. Kirishima was helping his mom with the groceries and noticed her losing her balance. She's known for being healthy, so something like that happening always drew a red flag for the redhead. He ever wondered if something was wrong, but he shrugged it off and thought she was okay.
But she wasn't.
Few weeks after graduation, Kirishima learned his mother is becoming ill at an idle yet somewhat bitter pace from a rare sickness. Trips to the doctor started adding up, and so did the medical bills. It was leading to Kirishima being the only one to take care of her since his father worked overseas, and only so much of his money supported them, but it wasn't enough. It was right then and there, it became Kirishima's task to try and help his mom the best he could, but he also had a difficult time trying to tell anyone about what's going on.
To support the costs, he started working, and on the side, he joined up with Sero and Testutestu on their odd jobs as much as he could. Even though their silver-haired friend was doing football training, he wanted some spare money for whatever he wanted—blow cash if you must. Kirishima worked until he almost went into overtime so many times, to the point where he lost count. They asked him why he did, but he never gave an exact reason, but would always say, "just in case something happens." That "something" was already happening, and it nearly broke the redhead's spirit so many times, but he never showed how he felt because he knew the others would pity him.
He didn't want sympathy. He didn't want people to worry about him. He wanted to do things his way and make sure his mom got the care she so desperately needed. So many nights he couldn't say a word to Ashido—the same woman who knew his mom so well for many years—whenever she bombarded questions about how he's doing or how his mom's doing. But what hurt the most, was how he didn't want to say something to Bakugo, who Kirishima's mom already considered him as a son.
He always thought he wouldn't be surprised if Bakugo found out sooner or later. Still, as the years went by, Bakugo always believed whatever the redhead said was legitimately true and never gave a second thought. It wasn't a good habit to pick up on, but they both never wanted to lose each other. They were both so dead-set on staying with each other through thick and thin; that was their goal.
