Saying Lynnette is shocked is an understatement.
The two of them, including everyone else, set their plan in stone way before the tour began, and as far as she's concerned, everyone was on board. The raven-haired woman didn't want to let her emotions take over, but after everything that happened during the brief amount on tour, it's hard to say. She was willing to do something outlandish for the sake of a friend, even if it was the dumbest idea she's ever heard.
Her mind's everywhere, considering her personal life and the dumb things she managed to get herself tangled in within the last few hours, demonstrates she's not stable enough to advance with the agreement already set in stone between her and the ash-blond male. It's not like she was eager to do it acknowledging her newfound emotions, but more like she was enthusiastic about dealing with a creep like the ash-blond male's former classmate. Once she thought about it all after secluding herself for a whole day, she considered she could finally do something good by stopping a creep, but that was cut short at this very moment.
"Wait, what," was all Lynnette had to say.
"You heard what I said," Bakugo proceeds. "You're not stable enough to do anything like that. If it's going to harm you, I'd rather cut it off now before it's too late to back out."
Lynnette shoots Bakugo with an "are you fucking kidding look" and chuckles to herself in a surprised tone once she realizes he's not lying to her. She shakes her head and walks back into her hotel room, with no desire to talk to the ash-blond male whatsoever because now everything, in her opinion, has gone south entirely.
"We're not done here," Bakugo starts, marching into the raven-haired woman's hotel room and closing the door, only now a few steps behind her.
"Really? Because it seems like you are," Lynnette points out, looking over her shoulder to the man standing a few feet away from her. She lets out a shaky breath and turns her whole body around to face him before proceeding. "First of all, if I want to tell you something regarding MY past, I should be the one answering your questions, NOT someone else. Secondly, we both AGREED to do this even if it felt wrong, so don't throw it all away until all parties are on board with the option. Lastly, don't jump to conclusions if I'm stable enough or not to do that because you don't know."
"Oh, I don't know if you're stable enough," Bakugo deadpans, "I decided to make a wild fucking guess!"
"Well, aren't you quite the comedian?!" Lynnette snickers, sarcasm dripping from her voice like venom, "my mental state has nothing to concern you, so quit acting as you care."
All Bakugo could do was mouth out "wow," roll his eyes and cross his arms over his chest out of annoyance because of the brief outburst the raven-haired woman decided to have. "I doubt your little apology had any meaning, but whatever," Bakugo muttered.
"You better take that back," she growls, making sure her hostility is subtle yet noticeable, "I am sorry."
"Sorry for what though?" The ash-blond male asks, "sorry for kissing me unexpectedly, sorry for lying to me about being drunk, sorry about having me see your friends drag your ass out of my room, or are you sorry for the little outburst you had? not too long ago?"
"Are you fucking kidding me?" Lynnette asked.
She lets out a shaky laugh, her hands out in front of her, asking him to wait so she can regain her composure. However, she never does; instead, her laughter becomes hysterical, and now she's clutching her stomach from it.
"Wow," Lynnette laughs, "okay, okay, sure, let's go with that! I'm sorry for kissing you, lying to you, letting you see that back there with my friends, my outburst, and let's throw in how I am sorry I let you see me in such a vulnerable state! Will that suffice for the damage I caused, or is that still not enough for you, pretty boy?!"
