"–You're a fucking dumbass, Kaminari," Sero bluntly states after hearing every detail about the golden-haired male's encounter with their former classmate.
"I knew you were going to say that," Kaminari embarrassingly admits.
Several days went by since the fateful encounter between U.A's pervert and Kaminari. He, as in Kaminari, was barely able to sleep one wink because of his guilty conscience, keeping him up so late at night. The thought of it all drove him insane. Overthinking every worst-case scenario regarding the whole situation, knowing more than one person will kick his ass if something awful happens. Well, this entire dilemma is wrong—illegal if anyone must include that part.
Sero, who noticed the bags under his eyes out of everyone else, wanted to be a good friend and listen. During the week, Sero found the time to talk to his best friend while Tokoyami would be out running his errands or working at a tattoo parlor as his full-time job. However, Sero wasn't ready to hear what Kaminari got himself into; it was much more problematic than anticipated. Even he's surprised his best friend got himself involved with something treacherous as illegal photo-taking—lewd photo-taking—for that matter.
"Out of all the things you could do for money," Sero starts, pinching the bridge of his nose in-between his eyes, "you agreed to do something like that, and getting paid by Mineta, of all people? If you were that desperate, you could have picked up some odd jobs with me! Honestly, this is something I would never expect you to do only for some quick cash."
"Well, they do say money talks. All of it is if we do end up going on tour with the girls," Kaminari quips, "and besides, it's not like I'll do it." Kaminari leans back in the reclining chair he sits on, locating his feet onto the coffee table right in front of him.
Sero, standing with his arms crossed and questioning his friend's sanity, takes a deep breath, and offers a piece of advice his friend should listen to carefully. "Mineta is the kind of person who doesn't like others breaking a deal once already made. You can't back down from this whether you like it or not."
"Oh, please," Kaminari brushes it off, "it's not like we're going on tour with them! It's just a rumor, and rumors aren't usually true!"
"You never know–"
"Hey guys," Tokoyami says, walking into the apartment with Midoriya in tow. "Midoriya has some news."
"What is it," both Kaminari and Sero ask in unison.
"Well," Midoriya begins to explain but instead shows an email about a tour lineup here in Japan—mostly Asia—with an all-familiar band: Sirens. "Isn't it exciting," Midoriya exclaims.
Kaminari tries to hide the amount of guilt and shock the best he can, "shit, I can't let them find out. Be cool, be cool..." In the worst-case scenario, thoughts always run through his head a mile a minute, but they are soon interrupted when Sero says something.
"Hey Midoriya, could you step outside really quick," he asks the green-haired male. "I just need to tell Tokoyami something quickly."
"Sero, you fucking–"
"Well, they do say money talks, but I'm not letting you talk your way in or out of another mess," Sero smirked.
"Uhm, yeah, sure, take all the time you need. Kacchan is calling me right now, so I better go," Midoriya said before walking out the door.
Once the door closes, Sero looks at Tokoyami, who is wearing an unamused facial expression. Giving each other a quick side glance, Sero is ready to start explaining Kaminari's situation but doesn't have a chance to, for Tokoyami can read the room like a book.
