it's kinda funny now that i think of it; our lives are basically in reverse. you left australia down in the dumps, but now you're in sweden living the high life. i left australia with the vibe you give off, the high off of life one, and now i'm stuck in such a rut. life kinda sucks for me.

your friend seems nice. i have a best friend, he's just a kiwi though, not your average american [wtf does that look like?]. he moved here before i did so he got into the swing of things, where i was left out. he tries to help, but calum is calum and he can be a bit much sometimes. especially the love letters he keeps exchanging with his pen pal, luke i think. they've exchanged 16 since class this morning, and they write novels each time. i'm still waiting for the date of the wedding.
the drums? those seem fun. you must be ripped then. i'm just a scrawny little thing with bleeding fingers. or i used to be. the fingers aren't the only things that bleed anymore.
my mum doesn't really mind what i do, she's barely home. she works a lot. and travels a bunch too. once i turned 14 she stopped getting a sitter to care for me. it's just me in an empty house most days. even if i picked up the drums she wouldn't care at all.
she tries to keep me as happy as she can with her job, and i love her for that. it's not easy, i can imagine. especially if your kid is as fucked up as i am.
