the darkened room soon turned bright as a new day has come. the sunlight seeped through the covered windows but still managed to brighten the room. the air in the room was still chilly because of the air conditioner causing hyein to even sleep more peacefully especially because today's a saturday so hyein's alarm was gratefully off
but with the birds chirping loudly from outside caused hyein to stir a bit as small mumbles left her lips. she turns around to grab her pillow so she could snuggle into it, she placed an arm around the pillow and took a deep breath as she inhaled the calming scent
the pillow felt so comfortable for her, she thought it was one of the expensive brands because of how nice the quality is. but she never though this pillow could talk
her ears perked at hearing a low chuckle close to her not to mention, the vibration from it against her made the girl awake. hyein immediately opened her eyes and look up to see a smiling chenle
hyein's eyes widened as she was about to move away to give some space between them - keyword is try, chenle's firm grip around her body stopped her. "you're really weird.."
hyein stopped moving as she cautiously stared at the male who was still closing his eyes but was fully awake. chenle slowly opened his eyes and a teasing smile cralwed up to his face as he said,
"you were having the time of your life making me your pillow last night and now you're suddenly freaking out"
hyein's face grew red as she diverted her eyes elsewhere while nervously gulping the forming lump in her throat. chenle eyed the flushed girl before letting out a light laugh which made the girl more embarrassed before pulling herself together to stare at him straight in the eyes
"i'm sure you were having the time of your life as well being hugged by me because i don't hug just anyone" chenle rose a brow before leaning his face forward slightly to irk the girl even more
"oh really?" hyein nods as she brushed away the nerve bubbling inside of her and kept staring straight at him. "i may like hugging when i'm asleep but not when i'm awake so.." hyein gave him a wry smile before placing both of her hands on his chest
"let go of me" hyein began to push his body away from her will of the strength she has which was quite enough to make the male wince as he let go of his arms around her. hyein immediately rolled off the bed and stood on the ground as she made eye contact with the annoyed male
"what's with the roughness in the morning geez" "i didn't push you that hard" hyein shrugs before walking towards the bathroom. before opening the door, hyein turns around and pointed a finger at the male on her bed
"you better be out of my room once i'm out of the bathroom" despite how stern hyein's threat was, chenle only shrugs before snuggling deeper to her covers as a small but hearable "no promises" escaped his lips
