Chapter 20: Life changing walk

Nini's POV

I woke up in-between Ricky and EJ. Wait. I thought that Gina was beside me? I sat up and stretched a bit.

"Sorry if I woke you up" Gina scared me.

"Gosh! Gina! You scared me" I turned around to see her reading a book on her bed.

"Sorry" she laughed as she put the book down "I woke up early and couldn't get back to sleep so I decided to read because practicing Taylor's moves for HSM would make too much noise"

"I'm hungry" I told her "Can we get some food?"

"Sure" she smiled at me.

We quietly creeped downstairs and made some pancakes.

"Some for me, some for you" Gina laughed "Everyone else's are over there"

"Where are your parents?" I asked.

"My mom is upstairs sleeping and my dad isn't around that often. Especially recently" she told me.

"Oh, I'm sorry" I gave her a comforting smile as I finished my pancakes.

"It's fine, do you wanna go out for a walk before everyone else wakes up? I do it all the time when we have sleepovers at my house. They take forever to wake up" she said as she put our dishes in the sink.

"Yeah. Sure" I agreed as we went outside.

We went to the park but accidentally bumped into someone.

"Sorry" I apologized.

"No worries" they said.

"Dad?" Gina looked at the guy confused.

"Momma C? Momma D?" I looked at my moms. Why were they walking around the park with Gina's dad?

"Dad?" Momma C and Momma D repeated, looking at eachother.

"What's going one here?" I asked them.

They completely ignored our question and started having a conversation between the three of them.

"So, Gina is your daughter?" Momma D asked Gina's dad.

"Yeah, are Gina and Nina friends?" He replied.

"Yes, we are friends. How do you know her name?" Gina said to her dad. Clearly she is as confused as me.

"They are, what do we do now?" Momma C ignored Gina's question.

"Tell them the truth" Momma D said.

"What truth?" Gina asked.

"Easy for you to say, Dana" Momma C told my other mom "This is about John and I"

"CAN YOU STOP IGNORING US?!" I screamed. They all looked at me, surprised "I'm sorry but what is it?"

"Fine, Nini... This is your dad" Momma C told me.

I sat for a moment taking this information in.

"If Gina's dad is my dad then that means..." I started.

"WE ARE SISTERS!" Gina and I screamed, excitedly.

"Why did I never know?" We asked our parents at the same time.

"We didn't know that Gina and John were at all related" Momma D told us.

"And until just recently, I thought that you were my only daughter" John, or should I say, my dad informed us.

"Wait. I thought you said that my dad knew that I existed?" I looked at my mom's confused "You said that when Momma C ran away, you texted him and he said that he wanted nothing to do with any of us"
