Chapter 23: Moving in

Ricky's POV

"WE'RE SOARING! FLYING!" we belted out the lyrics to the hsm songs in the car.

Nini, Gina, Kourtney and I were in EJ's car this time! Thank goodness! Carlos' car is so boring. EJ's car is known as the 'fun car' and I know why. I kinda feel bad for Ash, Red and Seb who are in the boring car.

*Meanwhile, in Carlos' car*

Ashlyn's  POV

I yawned while Big Red was sleeping and Seb was asking Carlos every two seconds if they were there yet who was replying every time with nearly.

EJ's car was so much more fun.

*Back in EJ's car*

Ricky's POV

"THIS IS NOT WHAT I WANT! THIS IS NOT WHAT I PLANNED!" We sang.

We got out of the car when we arrived at Gina's house.

Inside looked like it had been abandoned for years.

"Wow. How long were you gone? A few decades?" I asked, sarcastically.

"Your mom clearly went crazy when she found out about me" Nini added.

"But she seemed like such a nice woman" Kourtney looked so confused.

"She abused me" Gina mumbled.

"What? When? Why didn't you tell me?" EJ asked her.

"Before my- our dad moved back in she was always coming home from work, drunk, and would abuse me. That's why I could never go to sleepovers as a gang or with the girls because I didn't want anyone knowing. The bruises were hard to cover up but eventually I covered them with make-up" she told us.

We looked at her sadly as a tear fell down her cheek.

Nini hugged her and Kourtney followed.

EJ and I copied before the guys from the other car walked in.

We explained to them what happened before helping Gina pack up.

"That's everything" Nini said as we were all looking at the, now empty, house.

"Can we have a dance party before we leave?" Gina asked "I want that to be the last things that I do in this house with my favourite people"

"Definitely" we all replied at the same time.

We danced around a bit before we left. This time we were all in the mood for some singing in the car so when Nini, Seb and I were in Carlos' car it was even better than EJ's car. And EJ's car is hard to beat!

"Do you think we can have a week, just a week is all I'm asking, with no drama?" Seb asked as we all sat down in Gina's new room after moving all of her stuff in.

"Yeah. I think we can" we all laughed.

Nini moving was DEFINITELY THE best thing that has ever happened to me!
