Miley Swan was raised in Forks with her father. She became friends with the jocks like Justin, Zach, Monty and Bryce because she was a cheerleader. She was dating Jeff Atkins and was best friends with Hannah Baker......it all fell apart in one night...
The breeze made it feel like any other day at Forks and La Push. Chilly yet somehow it was sunny. The trio just walked with very little conversation between them. Miley was in la la land until a yelling was heard. Her eyes immediately looking up as three men jumped off the tallest peak one after another making her throat clench.
We're they killing themselves too? Was all she could now think with her saddened emotions and thoughts. "That's Sam Uley and his cult.....they are bad news" Jacob began explaining before stopping as the three men walked out of the water.Miley's mouth went dry at their appearance. They all resembled Jeff.
The short black/brown hair, chiseled featured, ripped body, and tan skin resembled Jeff to a T. Miley was watching them as they seemed to turn turn at the sight of the trio walking in their direction. As they passed the cult Miley caught eyes with this one boy.

She felt something lurch in her chest and couldn't help but continue to stare at his beautiful eyes. Until a look of utter disgust crossed his face making her turn right back around and catch up to Bella and Jake. They saw the little interaction making Jacob glare at the group. The boy was quickly escorted into the woods as he seemed to be panting in anger. His glare made Miley feel sick.
"Who was that?" Miley asked in a barely audible whisper as she wrapped her arms securely around herself. Feeling herself shutting down again. "That's just Paul Lahote, don't pay him any attention he's nothing more then a hothead". Jacob tried to assure.
But it was imprinted in her mind the way he looked at her. From shock to grossed out......she couldn't blame him. She was ugly, she was paler then usual and her eyes had probably looked like ones of a dead fish. The trio continued to walk along the beach as Miley fought this new feeling of emptiness. That seemed to settle after making eye contact with Paul Lahote.

It was Bella's first day of school so Miley actually got dressed (in picture above) She dressed in her clothes she'd worn so many times before but.... she felt out of place. She felt like a person wearing a costume. She wasn't sure how people would react of her coming back but she just wanted to be left unnoticed.
