And for the first time, I saw pain in his eyes.

It was painful for me to see this side of him. My hearts was shuttered to pieces.

I was about to answer him pero biglang tumunog ang doorbell niya. Bigla itong tumalikod at pumunta sa pinto without glancing at me.

Pagkabukas niya ng pinto, bumungad ang mga taga pulisya. Napahinto ako bigla dahil ang taong nasa harap ni Caesar ay ang Chief officer namin. Napatingin saakin ang Chief officer and mouthed, "We will talk after this."

May pinakitang papel ang Chief officer namin kay Caesar.

"Mr. Caesar Agosti, you are arrested for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 or the Republic Act No. 9165. You have the right to remain silent.
If you do say anything, what you say can be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to consult with a lawyer and have that lawyer present during any questioning."

At lumapit na ang mga kasama kong Police officer kay Caesar at pinosasan ito. I saw how horrified he was while they were arresting him.

But in that moment, I was confused. I submitted evidence to prove that Caesar is innocent pero inaresto parin siya. I think something is not right here.

"Police Officer Marga, come with us." Chief Officer said in serious tone. Napatingin agad saakin si Caesar dahil sa sinabi ng Chief Officer namin.

"Acknowledge, Sir!" I answered and salute to him. Agad na sinakay si Caesar sa police car na nakapark mismo sa harap ng bahay ni Caesar.

Biglang lumapit naman saakin si Brianna. My-oh-so-called-competitor. Self proclaimed  competitor ko siya. The moment I was hired, she demanded to have a competition kung sino ang pinakamagaling na police office. I declined her pero she was consistent kaya hinayaan ko nalang siya.

"Paano ba yan? Ako ang nakahanap ng ebidensya. Hindi ko kinailangan para gumiling para makakuha ng ebidensya hindi tulad mo na binigay ang katawan mo sa mismong criminal-"

I slapped her. Hard.

Her face showed angry expressions and about to slap me back pero sinalo ko ang kamay niya.

"Police ka ba niyan? Edukado kang tao pero ganyan ka magsalita. Paano ka nakapasa sa pagiging police kung sa ethics palang ay bagsak kana. My gad, Brianna!" Galit na sabi ko sa kanya.

"Isa pang salita ang lumabas sa bibig mo, ipapakain ko yung ethics book ko sayo." Dagdag ko at binitawakan ang kamay niya saka nagsimulang naglakad paalis sa harap niya.

Parang sumabog yung ulo ko sa galit dahil sa mga pinagsasabi niya. Bwesit na babaeng yun, hindi ko talaga alam kung paano nakapasa yun sa bar exam eh.

Pumasok ako agad sa room ko para hanapin yung mga ebidensya na nakuha ko. I called Caesar's friends too para sabihin ang nangyari. We decided to meet up para pagusapan ang action na gagawin namin.

Agad na nagbihis ako at kinuha ang purse ko at phone. Kinuha ko din yung brown envelope para ipakita sa mga kaibigan ni Caesar.

After 1 hour saka lang kami nakumpleto. Nagkita kita kami sa coffee shop malapit sa club ni Caesar.

"Caesar won't do something like that. I know him." Sir Eric said and clenched his fist. I do believe too na hindi magagawa yun ni Caesar.

Tanging mga kalalakihan lang ang nandito. Hindi nila sinama ang mga asawa nila dahil sa kadahilanang ayaw nilang maistress ang mga kanilang mga misis.

"I'll talk to my lawyer to handle his case." Presinta ni Sir Greg at nagsimulang may tinatawagan sa phone niya.

"Paano mo nakuha ito?" Sir Timothy asked and stared at me.

Huminga ako ng malalim bago ko sinagot ang tanong niya. This is the time to tell everything.

"I am actually a police officer. Isa sa mga naatasang case saakin ay imbestigahan ang club ni Caesar. I disguised myself as a new waitress and came from a poor family. Everything about me was all lie." And that's the truth. Nakita ko ang pagkabigla sa mga itsura nila dahil sino ba naman ang magaakalang isang pulis pala ang tulad ko.

I even showed them my ID and badge to prove that I am a licensed Police officer.

"So, coming to Caesar's life as a girlfriend was also a plan?" Sir Timothy asked again pero agad na umilimg ako.

"Hindi. Hindi ko pinlano ang pagpasok sa buhay ni Caesar. He just came infront of me and making me fall in love with him na ginusto ko din naman." I sincerely answered to them.

I love Caesar. I really love him to the point that I am actually willing to lose my job just to prove that he is innocent.

"Now that you really love our friend, what's your plan?" Sir Eric asked this time.

"I bet that their evidence were fabricated. We need to make an actions. Find those who fabricated the evidence. I'll send the details to your emails." I said and gave them my email address.

"And we also need to find the woman who drugged me in the club. This two might be connected." That's what I'm thinking.

We need to dig more details of this case. For Caesar.
