CHAPTER SIXTEEN

Aayan is sitting in his cabin, checking some files. He's busy working when Javed barges into his cabin. He glares at his manager then gets back to work.

"You know I am here, you saw me.." Javed brags.

"And I can hear you, go on.."

"You have no value for my work.." he complains. Aayan looks up at him, raising his brow.

Javed grins at him," there's this exotic new spa center opening two days fro."

"I am not Riddhi maa to get into your talks, get back to work.." he cuts Javed off and again glances back at the file.

Javed groans," I have got you that advisor you wanted. You better give me extra money or you see.. I have fixed the meeting for tomorrow afternoon because that's the only schedule he is free.." warning he stomps off throwing the file at him.

Aayan chuckles, and keeping his work aside he takes the file and read the details about the advisor and his work.

After he makes sure to read every details about the person and his previous works, he takes his phone and calls Alia.

"Yes, A?"

"Lia, I got a contact of a great advisor.. he's free tomorrow and the meeting fixed?"

"Sure, A." He hear her panting voice. Worried he frowns, "what were you doing Lia? Why do you sound so tired?"

"Ohh it's nothing.." she says.

"See you in the evening then?" He says and she says okay and hurriedly hangs up. He stare at his phone.

He looks at the display picture of hers on his contact he's saved. Smiling he traces her face. Her smile bright and her eyes with so much life in it.

There's something about her that he can't figure out which is drowning him towards her. It's never happened before. Suddenly her smile, her laugh, infact everything seems to really matter. It's like from the background, she's suddenly taking a spotlight.

He has always run away from her, hiding himself but suddenly, not even sure, he wants to run towards her. She's becoming the reason to finish the work sooner and go to her. He never wanted to finish his work and reach to anyone before.

Sighing he gives her picture a one good look,"what are you doing to me Lia?"

"Maybe you're falling in love.." Muskaan says from the door. He looks up at his mother who's grinning at him

He walks up to her and give her a kiss and hug,"how come you're here?"

"We're all going to Panchgani for a week.." she takes a seat on the couch as he leads her and takes a seat next to her,"Panchgani, why?"

"Riddhan might have find a lead to Ryna and you know how Riddhima and Armaan gets when it comes to her.." she tells him. He nods," you think we'll find her? It's been 22 years mom.."

"I dont know Aayan.. but I oath to be with my brother and I will be till I die.. and letting them go alone is not a good idea."

He nods and frown,"how come Riddhan found it after so many years when dad and Armaan uncle has been looking from the day we lost her?"

"You know Riddhan and his guys. They'd do impossible if need. That boy hasn't slept for ages it feels.." she thinks of his nephew.

"Let's hope we find her soon.. " he says and looks at his mother. She nods smiling then Pats on his shoulder, "so?"
