Until I collided into you (Scott x Clay fan fiction)

Part 10- Water wars

7:30pm

After the sun set over the horizon, I stood up and walked over to the ocean and put my feet in the water. The water was really nice, wasn't too cold or to warm. Scott took his jacket off, threw it on the beach and followed me into the water. We both walked until we were in about a foot deep of water that went up to our shins. I enjoyed the sound of the ocean, it was nice and peaceful. 

"You know clay, I would recommend looking to your left before that swarm of dolphins swim away"  

"Wait what?" I turned to my left and saw nothing 

Then I heard him burst in laughter, followed by a splashing sound. Before I knew it, I had water all over the right side of my pants. 

"Dude! What the fuck seriously!?" I yelled laughing. 

He slowly backed away laughing "it was just a joke". 

I then lifted my foot up and kicked a bunch of water towards him, he tried turning away to run but the water ended up landed all over the back of his shirt. 

He turned back my way, "You wanna go Jensen?!" 

I stopped laughing and thought "Oh shit I'm screwed". 

He ran at me fast, once he was close enough he jumped in the air and landed right in front of me. Next thing I knew, I was absolutely soaked in water, like completely.

"SCOTT- JESUS CHRIST!" 

He laughed "that's what happens when you mess with me" 

"But you-" I was so annoyed that I shoved him, a little to hard, he tripped backwards and fell into the water. I was shocked I did that, but I then shot a grin at him 

"Right back at ya!" and chuckled 

"Oh really" he said looking into my eyes, a grin shot across his face as he grabbed my wrist and yanked me really hard, I fell into the water beside him. I sat up in the water breathing heavily, I did not expect him to pull me in the water like that, so I had a heart attack. 

I was all soaked in sea water, my clothes now heavy from all of the water, but I still needed to get equal with him. I noticed the water was about up to my waist now, guess we haven't noticed how deep we've gone in the water. One last time I shoved Scott off his feet into the water. 

"Now we are EQUAL" I said while he got up from the water. 

I turned around to walk back to shore, but then suddenly he grabbed my shoulder and pulled me into the water AGAIN, I fell backwards under the water with him.

After a few minutes of continuous splashing and water fights, we eventually got tired and walked out of the water. 

"Jesus I'm tired" I said out of breath "mostly from laughing" 

"Same honestly" Scott responded while trying to catch his breathe 

I looked up and noticed the stars starting to appear in the sky. 

"We should probably go find Justin and Tony now, it's getting dark" Scott said as he picked up his jacket

"Yeah lets go" I replied 

We picked up our stuff, put our shoes back on, and started walking towards to boardwalk. There were a couple of people staring at us as we walked passed, I'm not that surprised, we were both drenched in sea water. Once we were close to the exit, we went to check the arcade to see if tony and Justin were still there, no sign of them. We walked to the parking lot to Tony's car, they were waiting for us there. 

"Jesus what happened to you two?" Justin asked with wide eyes 

"Why don't you ask him" I said pointing at Scott, like a kid pointing out their friend who just stole their toy

"Lets just say it was a joke that got out of hand" he said laughing 

"Now you both have to sit in my car like this..." Tony shook his head in disappointment 

"Hey it's fine, we can just sit on our jackets or something" Scott responded. 

"Great idea"  

We all got into Tony's car, I took off my sweatshirt i had with me and placed it on the seat so it wouldn't get wet, Scott did the same with his liberty tigers jacket that most of the jocks wore all the time, Justin and Tony were sitting in the front while me and Scott sat in the back, Tony then started up his mustang, we pulled out of the parking lot and onto the highway.

(30 minutes later)

We are almost halfway back, The sky was still bright enough that I could see outside, but I knew it wouldn't be bright enough for long. We were driving close to the ocean so I pretty much watched out my window to see if I could see anything interesting, I didn't spot much but a few boats out on the water, no sea creatures or anything crazy like that. Im pretty sure Justin fell asleep, Tony was definitely awake, but I don't know if Scott's awake or not, I turned to look at him, he was leaning against the car window. I could see his open eyes looking outside and moving around, so he was awake. I turned back to keep looking out my window, I couldn't see much much anymore because it was getting darker, which made me tired. 

I turned back over and looked at Scott, his eyes were now shut, I knew he wasn't fully asleep yet though. Without hesitation, I moved over and rested my head on his shoulder, hopefully he didn't mind. 

I started to fall asleep, but i felt him rest his head on top of my head, he then wrapped his arm around me, causing me to smile as he did. I felt my eyes begin to become more heavy, as if I was beginning to fall asleep, and that's exactly what happened.
