Part 18- I got you

I was completely speechless, I didn't know what to say or do but feel absolute HATE for Bryce. Word gets around fast in our school and this was something juicy for everyone to talk about, I didn't want to be the talk of the school, neither did Clay.

"Dude, you ok?"

Jeff interrupted my thoughts once again.

"Uh... I don't know" I quietly said while looking at the ground.

Jeff put his hand on my back "Hey man I think it will be ok, I can talk to the other guys if you want, so they don't spread anything around you know?"

I didn't answer, I wasn't sure how to.

He then sighed and asked "Did you and clay actually kiss?"

I think it's alright if I tell Jeff the truth, he's one of my friends anyways. But I also can really trust him a lot.

I continued to face away from him as I spoke.

"...yeah"

Jeff sat there silent for a little. For a moment I thought maybe I shouldn't have told him, but my mind quickly relaxed again once he smiled and said, "That's pretty cool man, I'm happy for you"

I smirked and turned towards him, "Im glad your not making a big deal about it"

"Well of course I won't, I don't care much if your into boys or anything, you're a good guy and a good friend that's all that matters"

"Thanks dude"

"No problem at all. I have noticed that this past month, a lot of stuff has been happening, I saw the fight you got into with Monty, I also noticed how you've been spending more time with Clay and his friends"

I smiled "well yeah, there's been a lot of stuff going on this past month"

"Do you think you could tell me? What's been going on?"

I could tell that Jeff was beginning to get curious, I don't blame him. Maybe if I do tell him about some of the shit that has been going down, I might be able to get a little more weight off my chest.

"Well, it's kind of a long story. But maybe it's best I tell you about some of this stuff since I can trust you"

I then took a deep breath, and began to tell him everything.

15 minutes later...

I could say that Jeff had the exact same reaction as Zach, I'm glad he did.

"Jesus... um... so let me get this straight, Monty and Bryce are mad at Clay because they think it's his fault your not friends with them anymore. So now they've been targeting him for the past month, you and clay have grown close over that time and discovered feelings for each other, you've also grown close to Tony and Justin, Bryce almost raped clay at a party, you saved him, you guys went to the Santa Cruz boardwalk and kissed at a restaurant with Monty and Charlie watching you guys, You guys kissed again, the rest of the team is after Clay now, you got into a huge fight with Montgomery and he almost breaks your fucking ribs, You freaked out at him in detention, Bryce keeps flirting with clay or trying to, you and clay hung out that other day and he spent the night, now Bryce is fucking around with you, and me, Zach, Justin and Tony are the only ones who know about all this?"

I was surprised he kept track of everything I explained to him "Yeah pretty much"

He looked shocked as he turned to look out towards the field, but turned back to face me again to ask another question.
