Sabrina

I was told to stay behind. I said goodbye for a reason. Even if I did leave it wasn’t going to accomplish anything. Yet why do I feel like there is still so much more I can do for them? I must be crazy for even considering this. Ugh but the plan should have ended forever ago! I cannot just sit here and wait for the worst news. Alright that’s it, i’m going! Grabbing my bag full of a few weapons I had snuck out of Rocky’s pile, I left the safe house and flagged down a Taxi. I am not sure if going to the warehouse is going to put me in as much danger as the Lynch family is in, but I was not going to be the most welcome person that is for sure. I mean my Dad has never even wanted me to go in there. Although now that I think about it, that is probably because of Rydel. God it really bugs me that this entire time my Dad had been keeping a missing pop/rock star kidnapped in a place he had told me was for storage. Talk about serial killer M.O.

Looking up I realize that the Taxi has arrived and begin to panic. Where do I tell the driver to take me? If I go to the warehouse there is bound to be cops and possible bad guys lurking around the main entrance. “Please take me to Hollywood Records Recording Studio B on Park Ave.” The Taxi Driver nods and sets the counter. Right I needed money for this trip. Where is my purse...? I double check that I have sufficient funds before we get too far and then try to text Ryland. Maybe he would know what was going on. After about 20 minutes I decide that he was most likely not going to respond and quickly make a decent plan in my head. Once I get dropped off at the studios I will hide my face in my hoodie and find a secret way into the building. Once inside I will take every step possible to make sure that no one finds me. I pull out my phone and set the camera to normal settings. I will use this to look around corners to make sure no one is there. I look up from my phone to hear the driver request the taxi fare. Fifteen dollars well spent if I do say so myself.

Getting out of the taxi I can see a bunch of police cars hidden around corners and in random alley ways all around the ware house. Quickly I throw on my disguise and begin walking down the street trying my best to look inconspicuous. There are so many cops! How am I supposed to get by without anyone seeing me? Looking to my left I realize that the cop sitting in the car by the side of the building has passed out. Poor guy must have stayed up all night long. I quickly walk towards this car and notice the side door of the building is propped open. I wonder how long it has been open for. Alright here goes nothing. No time like the present. The guys are waiting for me to come and save the day. It is my father after all. I mean what could he really do to me without hurting me. He wouldn’t hurt me. I am his only daughter after all. Then again I didn’t think he would steal a 20 year old girl. “OK Sabs just go in!” I say to myself out loud. Wow I can really procrastinate when I want to. Taking a deep breath I pull open the side door and make my way into the dark halls.

Ryland

Man, these hallways are dark. I wonder if the guys could even see in front of their faces for the first twenty paces ‘cause God knows I can’t. It is also super eerily quiet in this place. Where is everyone? I guess with the disappearance of all of my family I was kind of expecting to find random bad guys at every turn.  That was obviously not the case here. Making my way around a pitch black corner I suddenly here a loud thud coming somewhere close to my left arm. A deep voice grumbles “Ouch fucking wall jumped out at me.” Without even thinking I tackle the voice to the ground and gag his mouth. I loudly whisper in his ear, “stop fighting or I will cut one of these dainty fingers off!” As I tied the big lug up I briefly wondered where that rather harsh expression had come from but quickly moved on when I realized why this was so awesome. I bent down in front of the guys face and snarled “Where is my family dirt bag!” I can’t believe that I just took this guy down. How awesome am I?

“Ryland? What are you doing?” Okay am I dreaming or is Sabrina standing right in front of me right now. “Uh, Sabs, why are you here? How are you here? And if you don’t mind I just took this bad guy down all by myself and I happen to think that was pretty amazing. So don’t rain on my parade.” Sabrina gives me a “yeah right” face and comes closer to me. “Yes you’re the mighty Batman now would you get off him and tell me what is going on? I came to help because the original plan has clearly backfired if you are now fabulously taking down bad guys.” I got off the big deep voiced guy making sure his hands were tightly secured and walked over to Sabrina. I swept her into the world’s biggest hug probably taking her by surprise as she kind of stood there awkwardly for a second before returning the hug. “It is so good to see you! I am not sure what is going on but the guys went in on time and never came out. I figure they must have gotten themselves captured or something. The NYPD wouldn’t let me come in originally so we wasted almost 24 hours while they tried to come up with a plan that did not involve sending me in.” Sabrina just shook her head in anger. “I see they did a good job of that.” Finally someone who gets it! “Right? So eventually Nichol’s there tells me they need to send me in and that I need to save everyone. Now here I am braving the halls, and for some reason bumping into you. What are you doing here?”

Sabrina was about to tell me when we heard a loud bang from down the hall I had just come from. I grabbed Sabrina by the waist and pushed her up against the wall pressing my body flat against hers to shield her from... well nothing really it was more of a protective reaction. We waited for a few moments listening for any other noises when suddenly from underneath me there spoke a high pitched voice, “Do you wanna let me out now?” Pushing myself off the wall I backed away from her taking her hand. “Sorry. Shall we continue this mission properly?” She simply smiled at me and nodded. She pulled out her phone and turned on her camera to peek around the first corner. Did I mention this girl was brilliant?
