Questions

"Justin I have a couple of questions!"
A few seconds later Justin appeared through my doorway and made his way to my desk before perching himself on the edge next to me.

"What can I do for you my lady?"

"Firstly, I need to ask about this tracking people down thing. And secondly I need to ask about an employee."

His brows furrowed and he looked me up and down before speaking.
"I want more about the second question first before we speak about the first."

"Justin don't get jealous; it's a female employee."

"Oh?" His eyes gave the signal to carry on explaining.

"I don't know her name but she's in the meetings I hold on Wednesdays, sits next to Will. She has brown hair, dark eyes, really pretty."

Justin nodded to answer that he knew, my spine arched in a defensive stance from thinking he thought she was actually pretty. Did he think other women were pretty? Did he look at other women? Did he have other women in his life?

"Stop it Zoey. We're past the doubting aren't we? You said you'd trust me more and not question everything. Don't do this, angel." He stroked my cheek with the back his hand which immediately calmed me.

"I know, I know. I just..who is she? She's taken an interest in Will all of a sudden and we don't know why. I mean everyone knows he's not into women and she came on stronger to him the minute everyone in the office found out about us. Does that not seem strange to you?"

"I think you're both over-looking this a little too much, she might just be being friendly. She works with you so she has to get to know you."

"Yeah well watching my every move isn't going to get her anywhere. The only place it will get her is the stalker list."

"What do you mean watching your every move?"

"I mean whenever we're in the meeting room and everyone's working separately or in groups she keeps her eyes on me. Like she's trying to find something out, gauge information out of me without actually asking a thing."

He sat for a minute not saying anything, thinking but not out loud which was irritating considering I was the one with the problem.
"I still think you might looking too much into it Zoe, you should try talking to her if you haven't already. You might find that she has troubles speaking to people, maybe some more than others. Say if the boss has a girlfriend and you don't want to mess up in front of her because she can get you fired if she has a problem."

I never thought of it like that. Maybe Justin was right about it all, we looked to much into it and she might just have troubles speaking to me.

"Well what about my first question? Your stalking tendencies, how much do they have to offer me sir?" A smirk lined his lips and he spun my chair to the side as he leaned over me with hands on the arms of the chair.

"My sweet angel, haven't you learnt that I will do everything in my power to keep you happy?"

"So you found my dad?"

"We fly in two days, I guessed you wanted to go see him and speak to him so I set the jet up to go over for a week, I thought you also deserved a weeks break. I know I wouldn't say no to having you all to myself for a week."

"Justin.." I couldn't have loved him more in that moment. Leaning up I kissed him and held his lips to mine, I couldn't believe I could love someone so much and have them love me back the same, maybe more.

"He's in Sydney, so a week there wouldn't be the worst for us."

"Justin that's amazing! But how did you find him?"

"I have people who can find records, that's all you need to know. We'll start packing tonight." He kissed me then stood up ready to leave.

"Wait, what about Josh? I said I'd try sort things with him, I can't leave him alone. Can we try see him tonight?"

"I wouldn't do that. I looked up his whereabouts too and he's gone to New York. I don't know what for but he's there and we're here."

"Oh..well, should I try ring him?"

"No, once he's ready he'll get in touch Zoe. Remember that he's the one who was hurt most, the minute he's got it out of his system he'll let you know. Give him time."

I nodded in response and Justin went back to work. Why would Josh be in New York? Maybe that's my fault, he didn't want to be anywhere near me so he moved to a different city to get it out of his system.
But I get to see my dad again. I miss him so much, he left with a bad mind about my mums death and I will fix it. I'll fix everything.

But first I believe I need to give Justin a proper thank you for helping me restore order to my life.
This thank you he didn't mind. What man would say no to his lover on their knees in front of them?
