Chapter 24

Zoya didn't tell Grace when she told her, "I can't stand the thought that you did all this to deceive Aditya... It's not you... I know you won't do something like this..." Zoya had thought about it since she planned this. She genuinely wanted to help Aditya but she was helpless without making Aditya to marry her. She knew even if she stops that marriage by showing the video to them, Harshawardhan would do anything to get Aditya to marry Pooja with or without his willingness.

He doesn't care about Pooja's character or anything. He has always cared about the money and the money invested by Mr. Mathur in his business is much more important that Aditya's life. By marrying Aditya, she has helped him to escape from his father's dominance had on him. Now, she has to handle Harshawardhan from doing something to end this marriage.

"What are you thinking?" Grace asked while they were returning from their apartment. "Nothing Grace, I'm thinking about Harshawardhan... I don't know how to handle him... He'll do anything to end this marriage and will try to remarry Aditya to Pooja to get the money and Srivastav will be helping him in all the way to end our marriage..." Zoya said in worried tone.

"Zoya, are you seriously worried for Aditya?" Grace asked. "I'm not... worried... about Aditya..." after a pause she added, "I'm worried what would happen if I had to come out of that house before I get any information on him". Grace laughed and said, "Is that so? Then why do I sense you're worried for Aditya?"

"Grace... Shut up ya...", Zoya said with smirk. "So... you genuinely care about Aditya... Then why are you acting like you don't care and why did you deceive him?" Grace asked. "Grace... I told you... I befriended Aditya for his goodness and used that friendship for my advantage... I really do care about him... Aditya is pure soul and he is stuck with Harshawardhan... I married Aditya to get my revenge and to help that poor soul to get what he deserve", Zoya said.

Zoya was lost in her thoughts again while Grace said, "You could have stopped this wedding weeks back... You didn't have to complicate things for you and for Aditya... You did that kidnap drama to catch his attention. You negotiate with those goons who tried to kidnap you and made it look like she kidnapped you..." Grace said in low tone only audible to her. Zoya turned to look at her and scowled for saying that publicly. 

"Don't look at me like that... Babes... You know what I'm trying to say here", Grace said in low tone. "Do we really need to talk about my kidnap drama in the cab?" Zoya asked. Grace nodded and said, "I'm just trying to make some sense here... Don't blame me..." And she continued in low tone. "You got those scandalous video from Aman's phone, weeks back, you could have used it and stopped the marriage... But you had to put up all this drama and made Aditya helpless till the last second and you put him in a situation that he had no other way but to marry you... Poor soul... He thinks, you saved him from that unwanted marriage. But, he doesn't know  that he was being deceived by the same person who saved him..."

"Grace... It's not  like that... I had to put all those drama's... You won't understand unless you were in my shoes..." Zoya whined. "Oh... then, make me understand..." Grace said fiercely. "Why did you kidnapped yourself when you can escape from them so easily?" Grace asked while turning towards her in the car. 

"I had to... I had to do that because I had to break Aditya's relationship with Pooja and to get into Aditya's life. I wanted to break Aditya and to make him suffer, so I kidnapped myself and made those goons to go behind Pooja and help me. They agreed, when I told them I can make Pooja pay them more than she agreed", Zoya said and sighed. "Aditya believed when he saw her with them as the way I planned and He saw what I showed him... And Babu was happy that he got more money that he thought that's why he agreed to go along with my plan when I told him to expose her... And when I followed him to his place, he was worried that I was going to stop him from getting that money from Pooja. But, I had to negotiate with him and offered him 20 Lakhs more. I told him to think it as a double reward for his help. He was more than happy to give a copy from his stash", she paused while looking out the window.
