Chapter 27

Aditya and Zoya were at Grace's room. Arjun knocked on the door while popping his head through the doorway. "Bhai... What happened?" He asked. "Chotte... Come in... Everything is alright... Dad apologized and he don't have any problem with Grace in staying here..." Aditya said while Arjun got in and stood next to him.

"That's great... Thank God... Bhai..." Arjun said and he went to Grace and sat next to her. "Grace... You don't believe how much relieved I am to know that you're staying..." He added. Zoya and Aditya smiled looking at them. "Aditya... I think it's our queue to leave... Let this love birds enjoy their time together", Zoya said with smirk.

"I think you're right, Zoya. We better leave before these two throw us out", Aditya said and opened the door to let Zoya out and looked at Arjun. "Bhai... It's nothing like that... Why are you making it big thing?" Arjun asked. "Chotte... Like Zoya said... We're giving you some privacy that's all... You just enjoy your time together..." Aditya said and closed the door behind him while leaving the room.

Grace looked at Arjun and they had eye-lock and Arjun closed the distance between them. He kissed her passionately for the first time and Grace reciprocated it with same intense and passion.

They broke their kiss when they both were out of breath and while gasping for breath, Arjun said, "I love you, Grace. I love you very... very... much..." Grace hugged him and said, "I love you too, Hon".

They sat their silently hugging each other for some time. And when they broke their hug, Arjun said, "Grace... I'm really sorry that I let my father to talk to you in such manner... I should have stood up against him when he bad mouthed you... I'm really... really sorry".

"Arjun... You did what you can... But you don't have to sorry... I know how your father is and I hate to tell you that you don't deserve a life like this and I don't want you to be like your brother and live a compromising life", she said and Arjun's face frowned. "See, I know, you don't like anyone talking about your brother like that... But you also know what I'm saying is right. Your brother is living a compromising life because of your father. And he couldn't adjust with his life with Zoya in the picture. Don't you see how uncomfortable when he is around Zoya. I don't want the same life like Zoya. Every day fighting to live a normal life against your father is hell and I'm sorry to say this... if you're seriously considering to marry me then I don't want to live here after our marriage..." She added.

Arjun opened his mouth to say something but stopped. "Arjun... I want you to promise me that if our marriage happens after that we're leaving this house and this city too... If you feel I'm right then please promise me..." She asked.

Arjun sighed and said, "I promise you... that after our marriage... we will leave this house and the city too... And I know whatever you said is one hundred percent right..." Grace smiled and then laid her head on his shoulder. Arjun put his hand on her shoulder and lost in his thoughts.

A few moments later, "Baby... What happened? Where have you lost?" Grace asked looking at Arjun. "Babes... I'm thinking, why don't we set Bhai and Zoya up?" Arjun asked. Grace stood up in shock and asked, "What?" It took some time for her to process what he said and asked, "Are you out of your mind? Arjun... What are you saying?"

"Grace... Grace... Please sit here... I'll explain it to you..." He said and pulled her to sit next to him. "Baby... Just now you said that my Bhai is living a compromising life and he couldn't adjust with Zoya Bhaabhi in his life. Don't you think my Bhai to deserve a good life? And somehow Zoya Bhaabhi has done lot of things for Bhai... And the best thing she did is marrying him... Likewise, Bhai has never gone against our father for anyone. But he stood up against our Dad for the first time for you because of Zoya Bhaabhi", Arjun said and after a pause he added, "Baby... I just don't want to set them up just because they're married but I strongly believe that Zoya Bhaabhi is the one person who can make Bhai realizes that whatever my father is doing is not right for him and she is the perfect partner to him. And most of all, you can see that they both care for each other and wanted to stand for each other. So, what is wrong with me thinking to set them up? If we bring them together, then may be, may be they both can get their happily ever after that they deserve."
