Chapter 18

The Next day after Arjun and Grace set up Aditya and Zoya to meet.

Grace was day dreaming about her life with Arjun, when Zoya called her, "Babes..." as she didn't give any attention to her. Zoya throw the pillow at her to get her attention. "Grace... What happened to you? Where have you been lost?" Zoya asked.

Grace sat up straight in her bed and said, "Nothing..." with half smile and half shyness. "What madam thinking about Arjun?" She asked. Grace nodded like kid and Zoya asked, "So... tell me how he proposed to you?" Grace face frowned. "Where he proposed to me?"

"Then you told me that you wanted me to play cupid for your relationship... What does that mean?" She exclaimed. Grace looked at her in question and analyzed inside her mind whether to tell her or not for some time. After deciding she said, "Arjun called me yesterday and told me that he made mistake by misunderstanding Aditya. He told me that what Aditya told him and how he felt about you breaking up the friendship with him. I felt bad, so we decided to make things right for you guys. While planning how to bring you guys back together, he slip out that your friendship with Aditya is important to back our love life".

"I didn't ask him why he said like that or he didn't give me any explanation for saying that" she added. "So... that's it... You guys are behaving like it never happened..." Zoya asked. Grace nodded innocently. Zoya didn't know how to react. Zoya asked, "Just tell me... Do you guys have any idea for expressing your love to each other or not?"

"Zoya babes... You don't know how difficult it is to confess that how much we love them... You'll know when you fall in love with someone..." Grace said. "Babes... He already half confessed... What else is there to confess more? Don't tell you expect him to kneel down before you with a big stone ring" Zoya asked unbelievably.

"Not like that yaar... I'm not expecting anything like that... But I just want to hear those three words from him... That's all..." Grace said so dramatically.

"Gracie... when are you going to be practical? All this will not happen in real life... Those things will happen only in fairy tales and movies..." Zoya said with irritation.

"Zoya babes... You'll believe in all this when you find your true love... You'll yearn for that one person to say those words to you... That day you'll tell me that all these things will also happen in this practical world too..." Grace said while hugging her.

Zoya laughed. "It would never happen in my life..." she said while she was thinking about her parents and her revenge. Grace frowned but understood what she meant.

Three weeks to Aditya's wedding:

Aditya was sitting in his desk with the hands on his chin. Zoya was sitting opposite to him and looking at him. "Aditya, what is this? Are you going to sit there all day like this?" Zoya asked. Aditya nodded mindlessly. "Aditya... Aditya..." Zoya called for him.

Aditya nodded but didn't change his posture or say anything. Zoya stood up and shook his shoulders while yelling, "ADITYA". He came out of his trance and everyone in the department was looking at them. Zoya turned to look at them and said, "Sorry..." Then she took her place and asked, "Aditya, what is this? Why are you behaving like kid, who hates to go to school?"

Aditya looked at her and again he kept his hand on his chin, "We didn't found any evidence against her... And it's just three weeks to my wedding... If we don't find any evidence then I have no choice but to marry her... My life is screwed..." He said with a sigh.

"Don't talk like stupid... Nothing will happen like that... We have time till the second you tie Mangalsutra... I'm there... I'll do something before the second you tie Mangalsutra to her..." Zoya said only audible to him.
