Chapter 19

Two Weeks to Aditya's wedding:

"Aditya... Why are you always sulking? We still have two weeks..." Zoya said after looking at him. "We have only two weeks to the wedding and we haven't found any evidence against Pooja... And... wedding preparations are going in rocket speed..." Aditya said worriedly.

"Aditya, don't worry... Soon we'll find something against her to prove..." Zoya said trying to encourage him. Aditya hit hard on the table and everyone turned to look at them. "Aditya... Why are you creating a scene? Everyone is looking at us..." Zoya scolded him.

"Oops... I'm sorry..." He said. He stood up and added, "Zoya... I'm going to Aman's house... Doctor is coming to check him... I better be there, at least I'll not think about this stupid marriage..." Zoya lowered her head and she felt that she should ask him, "Aditya... I'm sorry... I haven't asked about Aman after we admitted him in the hospital... How is he now?" she asked.

"He is getting better... We brought him back to his house after 10 days treatment... He is still detoxing and today doctor is coming to check him... Today, we will know how fast he is recovering..." Aditya said. "And... seriously... No worries... Aman is alive because of you and I'm thankful for that..." he added.

Zoya smiled and called him, "Aditya" when he was about to leave. "Yea... Zoya..." He said. "Ummm... uh... Aditya... If you don't mind... can I... come... with you... to see Aman..." She asked in hesitant. Aditya nodded and said, "Why not?"

Aditya asked her to meet him at the parking lot and he left. Zoya took her belongings and informed Vinoth that she going out and headed to the parking lot.

Aditya was waiting for Zoya in the parking lot near his car. Zoya joined him and both hopped into the car. On the way to Aman's house, Zoya was lost in thoughts, thinking about Aman's calling Pooja's name in his unconscious state.

"Zoya..." Aditya called her in high tone. Zoya came out to her senses and asked, "What happened? Why are you screaming?"

"What do you want me to do? Where have you been lost? I have been calling you for so long and you were lost somewhere?" Aditya said. "Oh... Nothing... just got lost thinking about... uh... Pooja... and... How do we stop this marriage?" Zoya managed.

"Oi... You told me not to worry about it and now why are you worrying about it... Let it go... just chill..." Aditya said. "It's not like that... I was just... carried away that's all..." she said. Zoya tried to switch on radio and at the very same moment Aditya brought his hand to the tuner.

When their hands touch, both felt some kind of current passing through their body and immediately retrieved their hands and both said, "I'm sorry..." in unison. "Jinx" again both said in unison. "Double jinx" again both said in unison. Finally both laughed.

When they reached Aman's house, Aditya took Zoya to Aman's room. Zoya was looking around the house while going to Aman's room. "Nice place", she commented. "Hmmm... Vasu Uncle's selection... He kind of looked after each and everything while building this house and decorating the interiors", Aditya said.

Zoya nodded. They both entered Aman's room, Aman was lying in the bed and still drips were running. An attending nurse was sitting around the corner; she stood up when she saw Aditya. Aditya asked, "Is everything fine? When doctor is coming?"

She replied, "Doctor will be here in another 10 minutes and Aman's condition is better and he is recovering..." Aditya nodded and said, "We will be here, you can go and take break for sometime..." she nodded and left the room.
