Chapter 25

It's been a week since their marriage. Aditya and Zoya stayed at home but they didn't stay at one place together. Aditya slept at study and Zoya at Aditya's room. Zoya was unable to understand why Aditya is avoiding her. Even after, Aditya knows that they have to pretend as Husband and Wife.

Arjun and Grace has been having the best time together and they insisted Aditya and Zoya to come with them for few get together and dinner date. Except for those times, Aditya has never been in the same room with Zoya. She tried to talk to him while they were out together but he has ignored her. And at home if she enters study to talk to him, Aditya walks out of the study without even looking at her.

After Arjun and Grace left for work, Aditya spent his days in the study and Zoya in analyzing Hooda Mansion. Zoya hasn't seen Harshawardhan in the house after the marriage. She tried to get into his room but the same was always locked. She has asked the servants about master key to open that room and they said Harshawardhan has never allowed any one in his room when he was not there at home. She realized that she has to wait for some more time to get her hands on his room keys.

In these 7 days, she got familiarized with the entire Hooda Mansion except for Harshawardhan's room. That day, as usual after Arjun and Grace went to office, Zoya has nothing to do. She went to the kitchen and instructed the servants to make that day's lunch for Aditya and her. Later around after noon, she sent two of the servants to buy few things for the household and Aditya send the last one to get some things for him.

Aditya and Zoya were alone in the house. Zoya went to the study, thinking that she couldn't find the right time to talk to him other than this. When she entered the study, Aditya was busy in his laptop and he didn't notice her. Zoya went next to him and cleared her throat to announce her presence.

Aditya stopped working and looked up at her. After a second, he stood up and walk past her to leave the study. She stopped him by holding his wrist without turning. He turned his face to look at her but he didn't say anything. He tried to remove her hand from his but her hold was strong.

He looked at her hand and said, "Zoya leave me... I have to go..." Zoya turned and turned Aditya to face her. "Aditya, what is your problem? Why are you avoiding me? Ever since I told you to pretend" she asked. Aditya didn't respond to her and he ignored her.

"Aditya... I'm living in your house and you can't ignore me forever. At some point, you have agree with me and we have to come in agreement that we're married", Zoya said. "I know..." Aditya yelled. "I know that we're married and I know you're married to me for the sake of our friendship... And I don't want you to involve in my life anymore. I'll handle my problems in my own way... You please stay out of it..." Aditya said and left the study.

Zoya stomped her feet on the floor in frustration and said, "Why aren't you understanding that I need your support to stay here to exact my revenge?"

Harshawardhan came to Hooda Mansion for the time that evening and he went into his room. After a while he came out with some papers in his hand and asked Victor to call everyone to the living room.

Aditya and Zoya came out and looked at Harshawardhan in confusion as he was looking at them and Zoya can see pride in his eyes. Then Grace and Arjun joined them, Harshawardhan looked at Grace and asked, "What is this girl doing here?"

Arjun opened his mouth to say something but Harsh said, "Well... Now, that's not important. When this one gets out of my house then she won't be here too". Then looked at Aditya and Zoya and said, "You two listen to me... I want you to sign in this papers" and gave the papers to Aditya.
