Chapter 39

Aditya waited for Arjun in the parking. Arjun said, "Bhai... I have signed the paper and they'll release the body in 15 minutes. Then we can go to Aman's house. They said..." Aditya stopped him showing his hand. "Chotte... I don't want to know anything about him... You can take care of the rest and his funeral... I'm going home..." Aditya said and Arjun looked at him in disbelief.

"What happened, Bhai? Why are you saying like that?" Arjun asked. "I'll explain it to you later, Chotte. Please take care of rest", He said. Arjun nodded and went back inside as Arshad came to them and asked, "I need to talk to you, Aditya. Can we?"

Aditya asked, "What is there to talk?" Arshad looked at the ground and then looked up at him and said, "I need to talk to Mrs. Hooda about this video". Immediately Aditya snapped at him, "Don't you ever think about talking to Zoya about this video? I don't want her to get hurt anymore even by talking about this..." He trailed off. Just as it dawns to him. Grace saying, "She was upset about something and she drained the entire bottle..." and then a vision of Zoya saying, "Aditya, I'll never let anyone to harm you or hurt you. I'll do anything to save you and to protect you..." He face turned pale.

"Are you alright, Aditya? I understand your concern, but we have to talk to her to know on what basis Aman blackmailed her. Does she know something that we don't know? It could be crucial for this case... Please let me talk to her..." Arshad asked. "Damn it... I should have noticed about it... I should have protected her... at least now I should protect you" He mumbled.

Arshad shook his shoulder, "Aditya, are you even listening to me?" he asked. Aditya wiped his face and said, "Yes... But I need a favor from you, Arshad. I know it's impossible and you may even land up in problem... But if you do it then I would be forever more grateful". Arshad sighed and said, "Tell me... If I can do it then I would definitely do it". Arshad held Aditya's shoulder in reassurance.

"I want those videos to be gone from evidence... I don't want anyone to see about it or talk about it..." Aditya said. "You mean Pooja's and Zoya's videos..." Arshad asked. "I don't care about Pooja. It's her problem to deal with..." Aditya said with a shrug. "Ummm. Understood Aditya... Consider it is done already..." Arshad said and Aditya shook his hand with him while saying, "Thank you, Man!"

"Let's go and talk to Zoya... but I need some clarifications first..." Aditya said. "No problem... fair enough" Arshad said as getting into the driver's seat of his car. Aditya got in the passenger side.

When they entered Hooda Mansion, Zoya was waiting for him in the living room. "Aditya... What happened? Why are you here?" Zoya asked. Aditya looked around and asked, "Where is Grace?" "Arjun called her few minutes before and asked her to come to the hospital for his help. What happened, Aditya?" Zoya asked.

He made her to sit on the couch and he sat on the coffee table before her and gestured Arshad to sit on the single couch next to them. As they settled, Aditya asked, "Zoya would care to tell me what happened with Aman? He voice is cold enough to send shivers down her spine. Zoya didn't respond but she exchanged her looks between Arshad and Aditya. "Zoya what did he say to you when you meet him?" He raised his voice a little.

Zoya said, "I met him at Joggers Park when I was waiting for Grace. I didn't know he got better, so, I asked him about his health and then we talked for few more minutes... about... you and then... he left". Aditya glared at her and asked, "So you asked about his health and nothing else was going on between you two", he asked while raising his eyebrow. "Are you hiding something from me, Zoya?" He asked as she looked at him gulping and her first thought was something was wrong and he must have found out about their plan and he is going to blast at her.
