River stood there looking confused and upset at the scene in front of him. "What's going on?"
The girl turned her head sharply to glare at River whose jaw tightened and was shooting daggers with his eyes. "What does it look like, River? Now would you get out?" The girl said, rudely while still holding onto Coopers neck with both arms.
Cooper still didn't know her name. Did she even know his name? Maybe it's a good thing River came when he did.
River then glanced at Cooper who looked deep in thought and was just leaning against the counter, "Are you drunk?" He said, coming into the bathroom more.
River was acting as if he didn't completely ghost him and failed to show his face until Cooper was about to get who knows what from the girl.
Before he could muster out a word, mystery girl spoke up again with the same annoyed tone in her voice, "He's not a baby, River; he can worry about himself."
This chick was spitting facts, Cooper thought and let River have it, "Yeah leave me alone, River."
Ignoring his comment, River's face became hard again as his eyes became cold, "What do you know, Lea? You were drunk before you even got here and I saw you making out with at least five guys in the first hour. Next time you want to take advantage of someone think about if they'd actually want you when they're sober."
Opening the door further, he walked in and grasped Cooper by arm, not hard, but enough to make him almost trip over his feet. "Let's go."
"Sorry!" He said to his flamed flame before following River out the door. As soon as they did, he became distracted by the blue and purple neon lights shining down on everyone. The room was almost spinning which made him so fascinated by how aesthetically pleasing it looked that he felt himself fall to the ground.
Letting out a laugh, he stayed there for a few seconds before being lifted up. He felt a hand go around his waist and they were walking, basically dragging Cooper who tried his best to catch up with them.
It was fine until he realized the person helping him wasn't who he thought it was. He could only see under their jaw from how tall they were but he knew it wasn't River.
River would never be so aggressive with him.
"Wait a minute, where's River?" Cooper asked confused but still walking with the person to who knows where.
"I don't know." They said short, their voice deep.
"Where are we going?"
"Somewhere quiet"
Making it to the stairwell, they tried their hardest to hold Cooper up so he wouldn't fall. "Haha stop going so fast!" Cooper yelled out while grabbing onto the railing. As they reached the door, the person opened it and led him to the bed. Cooper threw himself on and just laid there for what felt like a minutes but was really just a second.
The room was dark and you couldn't see anything so Cooper really didn't know if someone was still in there.
A light from a phone illuminated and he quickly realized they were still there, but it didn't last because soon they left and Cooper was once again by himself.
A couple minutes later the door opened again but this time whoever it was turned on the light blinding Cooper.
"What the heck?" He whined, squinting and covering his eyes.
"Oh sorry I didn't know someone was in here. I just came to use the restroom."
Cooper didn't really care, he was more aware that he somehow knew this guy. "I know you, don't I?" He asked while slightly uncovering his face but still squinting.
