Dr. Fox continued to write in her journal when Hawkodile walked in. "Dr. Fox, I need to talk to you."
"Yeah! What's up?"
Hawk took a deep breath. "I'm not sure how to say this, but I just wanted to tell you that-"
"Dr. Fox!" Richard floated in. "Unikitty and Puppycorn are trying to cook and refuse my help."
"That's weird. They've never had an interest in cooking."
"Well, they do now."
Dr. Fox turned to Hawkodile. "Sorry. I'll be right back."
"No, it's fine. Really." Hawk responded, although he wished she would stay and let him finish.
Fox ran as fast as he could out of the lab and Hawkodile sighed. Just as he was about to leave, he saw a journal on her desk.
Maybe she wrote down who she has a crush on... He picked it up before realizing what he was doing and putting it back down. You don't want to invade her private stuff...
He stared at it. He couldn't bear the temptation. He wanted to read it.
Hawk picked it up and flipped to the first page.
It's been about a week now, and I can't get over my love for someone. My love for my close friend, Hawkodile.
He stopped and out the journal down in shock
"Dr. Fox... has a crush on me?"
It all was coming together now. The way she had acted a week before, all weird and sweaty. And when he handed her the daisies, that was when the hearts came to crush her.
"She has a crush on me..."
At that moment he ran as fast as he could out of the lab, desperate to find his friend.
