KNOCK! KNOCK!
It sounded like someone was knocking on the castle's front door. The knock was faint, so Dr. Fox couldn't really hear it.
She shrugged it off, before hearing the knocking noise again.
Fox was about to walk back outside, until she heard the doorbell ring.
She walked all the way to the door and peeked out the window. She couldn't believe who she saw.
She opened it quickly.
Hawkodile put his hand up and waved. "Hi, Dr-"
Before he could finish his sentence, he had been pulled into a hug.
"Your better!"
"Not all the way, but they're letting me come home today."
"Um... Hawkodile... Do you think I can talk to you for a minute?" Dr. Fox asked, her face starting to blush.
"Yeah! Sure! What do you need?"
"I... umm... I..." She took a deep breath before letting it all out. "I have a crush on you!"
Hawk widened his eyes. "What?"
"Ever since that morning 3 weeks ago when we walked to breakfast together. I was just too afraid to say it, because you have a crush on FeeBee and all..."
She covered her face in her tiny hands.
"It's OK if you don't love me back... I just needed to get it off my chest."
From her tiny state, that honestly made no difference because she's already pretty small, she grew to her real size.
Hawkodile smiled and bent down so he could look at her in the eyes.
And just like that, he kissed her. But this time, it wasn't on the cheek.
