Dr. Fox entered the kitchen and grabbed an ice pacs from the freezer. Then she saw Unikitty.
"Hey! You're finally up!"
"Finally? What time is it?"
"I dunno, like, 4 PM. Is Hawkodile up?"
"Yeah. I brought him to the treehouse. I'm getting some ice packs for him."
"Can I come? We barely got to talk after he came home."
"Sure."
The girls walked together through the halls of the castle, and out into the dojo. Hawkodile was sitting on his bed, not really being able to move that well.
"Hey, I'm back." Fox said. "And I brought someone with me."
He smiled. "Hi, princess."
Unikitty smiled too.
Fox handed him the ice pack.
"I'm gonna go find Puppycorn and Richard. I think they'll want to talk to you, too." She stated. "I'll be right back."
She climbed down the stairs going through the tree trunk, and her two friends watched her.
After hearing Dr. Fox climb down all of the stairs, Unikitty turned back to Hawkodile.
"Are... are you mad at me?" She asked nervously.
"What? Why would I be mad at you?" Hawkodile replied.
"But... it was my fault the fire started in the first place..." She admitted, tears starting to form in her eyes. "And it was my fault you got hurt..."
"No, it wasn't." He opened his arms for a hug, and she gently climbed into them. It hurt him a little, but he didn't care.
She tried her hardest not to cry. "I never should have started cooking. I never should have trusted Puppycorn to turn on the oven. I never-"
"Princess," Hawkodile stopped her. "People make mistakes, and that's just life. If I wasn't there rescue you, you'd probably be dead by now."
"But it's your job to rescue me. And if I didn't need rescuing, you-"
"I thought you were supposed to be the happy one around here." Hawkodile chuckled.
Unikitty smiled a little.
There was a brief pause.
"Can you do that for me?" Hawk asked.
"Do what?"
"Whenever a bad situation happens, especially now, try to always be happy about it. Someone needs to."
"Yeah! I can do that!" Her smile went bigger, and she began to float.
"I can be happy!"
She flew back to Hawkodile, embracing him in a hug, trying her best not to hurt him. "Thanks."
He smiled.
She flew over to the stairs.
"I'm gonna go spread my positivity all around the castle! Don't worry, I won't forget about you. I'll let you and Dr. Fox have some time together. She seemed to miss you the most around here..."
She paused for a minute, then turned back to her friend. "I think I now know who her secret crush was."
Unikitty floated out of the room, and Hawkodile blushed.
"I think we all do..."
