Hawkodile slowly opened his eyes. He examined his surroundings. It seemed that he was in a hospital room. He then looked down at his body.
Most of his it was covered in burns, and hands were wrapped, so much they felt like his boxing gloves.
"Can I visit him now?" A voice asked from outside of the room.
"This is the 17th time you've asked me! Just wait for 30 more-" Another voice yelled at the first, but then sighed. "Fine."
The door opened and Hawk saw Dr. Fox walk in. She sat down on the chair next to him.
"Dr. Fox...?"
"Hawkodile!" She exclaimed, gently hugging him, not wanting to hurt him any further.
He smiled and put his arms around her as well.
"Are you feeling better?"
"Everything still hurts, but I'll be fine."
She stopped hugging him and positioned herself back on the chair.
"Are... are Unikitty and Puppycorn OK?" Hawkodile asked.
"They're fine. They actually decided to visit you after lunch today."
"They don't have to do that..."
"No, they want to. They miss you. We all do." She smiled. "Our life isn't complete without you, so please get better."
He smiled as well. "I'll try."
