A week passed, and Hawkodile continued to have the same nightmare.

He was feeling better, though. So, in order to get his mind off of his weird dreams, he has been (slowly) getting back into bodyguard work. All his friends were glad to see him getting back to his true self.

He's also been helping Dr. Fox with her experiments. He enjoyed hanging out with her the most.

"Hey, Hawk." Fox started. It was the 5th time he's offered to help her. "Do you wanna, umm, go get some ice cream together?"

He blinked. "Me and you?"

"Yeah! You know, as a celebration that you're healing, and that you got all your bandages token off yesterday."

"Oh yeah. Forgot about that." He admitted. Before he was wrapped everywhere, and now it's back to his comfy black shorts and squishy red boxing gloves.

"So... is that a yes?"

Hawk bent down and kissed her on the cheek. "Of course."

She started to blush, and wiped the kiss mark off.

He grabbed her hand, and they started to walk out of the lab together.

"Hello!" Welcomed the local ice cream vendor Herbert Sherbert. "What can I get for you today?"

"I'll have mint chocolate-chip, please." Dr. Fox requested.

"And I'll take the mystery flavor." Hawkodile added.

"Coming up!"

Fox turned and looked at him. "Mystery flavor?"

"Yeah! It's fun to be adventurous once in a while."

"But you always get the mystery flavor. And, last time you did, you threw up and went home because your stomach hurt."

He chuckled. "That was NOT a good day. I think it had food poisoning in it."

She giggled.

"Here you go!"

Herbert handed them their cones.

They both payed him and sat down on the nearest bench.

Hawkodile hesitated before eating his ice cream, then turned to Dr. Fox.

"Do you think I'll get sick again if I eat it?"

"Says the one who always wants to be adventurous in everything he does." She teased.

He paused for a minute. "Maybe I shouldn't eat it."

She raised an eyebrow.

You're looking like a fool in front of her!

"You know what? I'm just gonna do it."

He covered his sunglasses so he wouldn't be able to see and and licked the cone.

His eyes shot wide, and he started into the distance.

"Hawkodile?"

There was no response.

"Was it good? Or..."

"IT'S BRUSSEL SPROUT FLAVORED!" He then yelled, running to the garbage can. He started to spit the flavor out.

"WHY IN THE UNIKINGDOM WOULD YOU EVEN SERVE THIS FLAVOR! IT'S ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! BLEH!"

Everyone's attention turned to him. Even the poor ice cream vendor watched as he criticized his ice cream. The entire park grew silent.

After a few minutes of watching and waiting, everyone went back to their normal routines.,

Fox smirked. Now that's the Hawkodile I know and love.
