The meeting begins with the executives going over the monthly statistics for the company and the department heads giving an overview of recent projects.

The company has been going through a re-branding and making the business more user-friendly. The design department has been drafting new logos and slogans for products, which I assume is why we're getting new investors.

Majority of the meeting I spent listening and typing, not looking up for more than a minute. About forty-five minutes into the meeting, Mr. Baker announces the entrance of the new investors and everyone began applauding as they walked in. Three gentlemen walked in each wearing pristine black suits, all appeared to be in their mid to late forties. Mr. Baker also explained that there was to be a forth investor and that he would be in shortly.

Johnathan leaned over and whispered in my ear "Girl, I'm so bored," I giggle slightly and give him a 'me too' expression before he huffed and sat back in his chair.

The investors begin by going over what exactly their part was to play in the business and what they were expecting from the company. After the three investors, whom I now know as Sam, Dylan, and Chris, finished their introductions, the forth investor walked in. I immediately heard a sharp intake of breath from Johnathan while I was still typing on my computer. I eyed his curiously then turned my attention to what had him so in awe and I was instantly taken back.

In walked a tall, dark-skin man wearing a grey suit jacket and pants with a white-collar shirt and black tie; his shoes a shiny black without so much as a scuff mark. His jacket strained against his muscular arm. Clearly he takes very good care of his body. On his smooth brown face rested a carefully groomed black beard that complements his dark waves that sat atop his head along with a delicious-looking pair of plump lips. He looks to be at least in his thirties, but God this man is gorgeous. He gracefully walks his lean body to the front of the room as my gaze unapologetically follows it.

He opens his mouth and out-flowed "I apologize for the delay, I hope I didn't keep you all waiting long," in a deep, husky voice. He presents a light apologetic smile that displays his perfectly straight and white teeth. Suddenly, I am instantly crossing my legs. What the hell is wrong with you, you don't even know this man, I chastise myself.

His eyes roam around the room until they meet my gaze and I promptly remember how to breathe as he intensely stares into my eyes. It was like time stopped and it was just he and I looking at each other. He shifts his eyes and begins explaining what his role will be in the company; however, I couldn't pay attention to anything else besides the beautiful creature standing at the front of this room. He carried himself with poise and utter confidence, leaving no room for anyone to doubt a word that spilled out of his mouth. If the opportunity presented itself, I would jump his bones.

"... and I look forward to working closely with each department" was the last thing I heard before Johnathan nudged me out of my ridiculous trance, so we could go back to work. I couldn't help but think about how he emphasized the word 'closely' when he looked at me last. I hastily pull myself together as we walk out of the meeting room, but I could still feel those intense dark brown eyes burning holes in my back.

"Girl that man was like a black Adonis, he got me sweating," Johnathan says whilst dramatically fanning himself as we got on the elevator.

"Yes, he was fine." I attempt to sound nonchalant but fail miserably.

"and honey he had eyes for you," he cooed as we stopped by my desk so I can collect my things for lunch.

"Girl bye" I state more firmly than before and mentally applaud myself before practically dragging him downstairs for lunch.

We ate for about an hour and the greater part of the lunch was spent with Johnny dreamily talking about Mr.Wilson, as I learned from Johnathan because it completely went over my head in the meeting.

After work, I stopped by the gym. The attempt was to do something other than wrack my mind about Mr. Adonis, as Johnny and I call him now. My night ended with a long shower, wine, and a book.

The week predominantly consisted of design drafting for new products. Thomas told each of us over this week to work on some designs for a new company logo and on Friday we would each share our designs. This, I was excited about. Expressing my creativity had always been a requirement of mine when I was looking for a job and I was ecstatic when I was told what my tasks were after landing the job. Friday is going to be a great day.
