Grabbing my hand and pulling me towards the booth, we bid our farewells. "Are you guys sure you'll be fine?" I asked nervously between my two friends.
"Yes, yes go have fun," Gabi replied passing me a wink before turning her attention to Silas "if she's not home tomorrow, we will find you."
Silas flashed her a smile making her blush, "I assure you, she is in good hands." I noticed Devin's demeanor seemed void of emotion but I simply shrugged it off. "You remember where the extra key is right?" Gabi nodded.
"See you later man, don't wear her out too much." Hearing Kyle's vulgar statement made my face begin to heat up. I hid it into Silas's arm. "You ready?" he asked peering down at me on a light chuckle. I nodded and we were on our way.
He voluntarily decided to go to his place since it was closer and in the meantime took the opportunity to try to get to know me. "So, how old are you? You look pretty young." I wasn't particularly interested in small talk, but I figured I should entertain him.
"Did your mother ever teach you to never ask a lady her age?" I teased as my hand drifted to his thigh, caressing it slowly. He glanced down at my hand circling his hard thigh muscles, clenching them at my sensual movements.
"She did, but I thought it was stupid, so here I am," he replied bluntly. He sped down the road at an alarming pace as we engaged in small talk. I could see that something was eating at Silas as we drove to his house. We pulled into a brick driveway where a simple yet elegant and modern house sat. It's white and grey exterior gave off a minimalist vibe. The tall floor to ceiling windows displayed a perfect view of the beautifully cut lawn and trees. I was still admiring the exterior when I felt my door being opened and a hand waiting patiently for me.
I smiled politely and exited the car, turning to him I asked: "Is everything okay? I can tell something is bothering you." He waved it off telling me everything is fine as he guided me inside his home. And if I thought the outside was beautiful, the inside was astounding. I barely had time to admire the scenery before I was aggressively placed against the wall with my mouth against a warm pair of lips. I squealed at the abruptness making him smile before lifting me and wrapping my legs around his waist.
His mouth devouring mine, his hands on my body, the sexual tension in the air, were all sending lightning to my sex making it ache with hunger. He released my lips and I let out a soft moan from the abandonment prior to him switching to my neck. Out of nowhere, we began hearing an incessant buzzing coming from somewhere that we could no longer ignore. Silas let out a loud groan as he pulled the phone from his pocket and yelled down the line. "What?!"
I patiently roamed around the area, after kicking my heels off. Noting that it was the living room, it contained a black sofa set that circled a glass coffee table with two remotes lying on it. I looked around for a TV but failed to find one. There were gray curtains that cascaded down the long windows and a plush white rug that sat beneath the coffee table. Whoever the designer was for this house, did a marvelous job. They were definitely about to gain a customer. I was instantly jolted out of my thoughts at the sound of a loud bang of the phone on a counter. I paced over towards him slowly and stood by the door waiting for what he was about to say.
"I think you should leave."
"Excuse me?"
"I think you should leave," he gritted out the words. Clearly, he was upset, but he held himself together well. Well shit, I was too. I'm horny as fuck. Well, I was.
"You have got to be fucking kidding me," I mumbled as I hurriedly pushed on my shoes and fixed my dress as I walked out into the cold night air. I didn't even bother to say goodbye and I had no idea where I was going but I knew one thing, I was getting the fuck away from here. I was livid. Pissed. He called after me, but I kept walking as I pulled out my phone to order an cab.
His car revved down the driveway slowing as it came closer to me. "Get in the car."
"No." I didn't even want to be around him. He brought me all the way out here, got my hopes up, and then left me high and dry. What a fucking waste of my time. If anybody knows me, they know that the one thing I do not tolerate is wasting precious time. Time is something that you can't get back and I chose to spend mine making every second count.
He stopped the car and go out. I continued walking, but he caught up to me in no time. Grabbing my arm, he pulled me around to face him and glared at me. "Get in the fucking car Ariah."
Ignoring how much that turned me on, I glared back at him. "Look, I don't know who you think you're talking to, but I'm going to let you know right now. That tone? Has to go. I'm not your fucking child," I shot back, snatching my arm away from him.
His jaw clenched as he stared at me. "Can you please just get in the damn car?"
I pushed past him and reluctantly got into the passenger seat. Once he got inside, he raced down the driveway and onto the highway with his hands gripping the steering wheel tightly. The ride home was irritably silent. Swiftly telling him the directions to my loft, we arrived in no time due to his reckless driving. A part of me wanted to ask him what had his nuts in a twist, but I decided against it because it was none of my business. He parked his car and attempted to get out before I quickly spoke up.
"I know how to work a door." Huffing out in annoyance, he stayed put.
"Goodnight," he said before I closed the door.
Fiddling through my bag as I made my way through the gate of my apartments. Feigning ignorance to his remark, I fished out my keys and made my way through the lobby and into my loft. What a fucking night.
