BLACK MOON PACK

🌑NEW ADDITION🌑

It's been two days since Max became ill, Dr. Ryan and nurse Vera have been keeping him in his room, only Toby could see him and when he does, Toby would cry because he's afraid Max will die as well, but hearing Andy's reassuring words kept giving him hope that maybe it won't be a sad ending afterall.

Today, Chad and John were on patrol, Benjamin had formed a patrol team with some of the well built omegas in the pack.

"So, what do you think will happen to the pack if Max...you know....dies" Chad started, John shrugged, his twin could be more dark with his thinking, unlike him and their fraternal sibling, Dan.

"I don't know man, all i know is Max will be fine at the end of this whole thing" John shrugged, Chad sighed and they walked to the west side of the border, they saw two people jumping the fence.

"HEY! STOP!" Chad shouted and shifted while running.

John ran after him to find Chad growling at two 2 strangers, a male and female, they were dirty and the male was bruised up, the female had a cut on her lip.

"Who are you?" John asked, the strangers shook in fear looking at the wolf growling at them

"My name is Rita and this is my brother Nate"

"I disagree"

"You do realize I'm the official second in command here and that means YOU listen to ME" he banged his fist on the table. Benjamin sighed.

"If you kick them out what will you tell Max if they go to another pack and they resent us"

"I don't care, we're not allowing humans to join our pack, what if they are spies sent by the hunters that killed Taylor"

The room went quiet

"Taylor is dead, he will want us to move on, you say you deserve to be the packs second in command but you don't respect your pack members' opinions, that's not what Taylor wanted for this pack, we accept all without judgement, they leave because they want to and by the looks of it, these two people came here seeking for help" Dan stated, Mike fumed in anger.

"Well i say no, and whoever lets them in will be punished by militarily law" he said making them all gasp.

"Are you serious right now Mike? This pack doesn't practice that and how dare you introduce a new law without informing the alpha or us" Benjamin argued.

"The alpha is sick and I'm the one in charge, so deal with it, those two strangers are not welcomed in my pack, meeting over" he concluded and left.

Benjamin and Dan sat there stunned.

"If he continues like this, Black moon pack will be extinct"

Toby was in the gardens with Andy, the two of them have become friends in a short time and Toby is glad to have someone who can distract him from everything going on right now.

His wolf was excited today but he couldn't tell about what.

"They say when your wolf is excited it means your mate is near you" Andy said making Toby to gasp,

"You can read my mind?" He asked, Andy nodded.

"I can read the minds of those pure of heart, you, Benjamin and Max have those" he giggled.

"What are you exactly?" Toby raised an eyebrow, Andy shrugged.

"I don't know myself, I'm a hybrid, an abomination....something that shouldn't exist" he said looking at the trees ahead.

"Sounds tough....^sigh^....i know what you mean, my previous pack was.....well....not like this one" Toby said looking at the omegas laughing and playing in the pool.

Andy nodded his head.

"I can see why we're friends now, we went through some shit and we survived through it" Andy stated making Toby to giggle.

"You're right"

They sat there talking when someone stood behind them, their scent was unfamiliar so Toby turned around to see a boy standing there, he was truly handsome, Toby blushed when the boy's eyes met his.

"Hi, I'm Nate"

Toby's wolf ran circles in his mind yipping happily.

"Mate! Mate! Mate!"

Toby gasped, he stood up and hugged Nate.

"Mate"

Andy smiled

"New addition to the family i see"

Dan and Benjamin were sitting in the living room with Rita, she was telling them what happened prior their escape

"My brother and I ran away from my mother...she's a very abusive person, both physical and emotional...once she found out i was a lesbian she threw me out and stayed with Nate, she beat him for my mistakes, she even tried to suffocate him in his sleep...this morning she beat Nate with her wooden feather duster, i managed to stop her to allow Nate to run for help...then...she said no one will believe us so i pushed her back and we ran, your mansion was the first thing we saw up the hill" she said, a tear escaped the corner of her eye.

"I'm sorry for what you've been through....if you guys want, you can stay with us but....we're not humans" Benjamin said, Rita nodded.

"I figured that out when i saw a man shift to a wolf when he ran to us....it's not a big deal as long as we're safe here it's okay,......i don't know how to repay you guys" she sobbed into her hands.

"It's okay, we will ask some omegas to prepare a room for you guys" Dan smiled, he feels like any other person could allow these two to stay, if Mike was going to be a problem then he and Benjamin will solve it themselves.

As they sat there Toby and Nate came running with Andy behind them.

"Uncle Benjamin guess what" Toby beamed with glistening eyes. Benjamin smiled.

"You won the last level you were playing?" He asked, Toby shook his head, he held Nate's hand.

"Nate is my mate!"

The room went quiet, Dan sighed

"Oh boy"
