"Dad I'm scared" Toby whispers holding Max's hand, his other hand was holding Nate's. Max rubs circles on his back.

"It's just a storm, everything will be okay" he says, the power returns and people sigh in relief, some of them began rushing to charge their phones.

Max stands up and looks outside, it was completely dark as if it was night, something was unnatural about this storm and he doesn't know why.

"Max....let's go check the patrolling wolves at the fortresses" Benjamin says making Dan nod.

"Toby, stay here with Nate and Rita, I'll be back" he says, Toby nods and doesn't say a word.

They walked out of the pack house and gasped at what they saw, tress have fallen to the ground, rose bushes torn to shreds by the winds.

"What exactly happened?" Dan asks quietly.

"Let's hurry up, maybe they're hurt" Benjamin says, the three wolves shifted and ran towards the borders, they started with the south border.

"Mike, what just happened?" Andrew asks walking inside the office, Mike sighs

"Haven't you heard of a storm? Are you that scared of a little lightning that you pissed your pants?" He asks looking at the wet spot on Andrew's pants.

"This is the water that just splashed me on my way here, your pack house is faulty, the kitchen roof has collapsed and you're here reading a book, what kind of leader are you" he asks angrily. Mike growls and stands up from his throne.

"Don't forget who you're talking to Andrew, i made you, I gave you a position in my pack how dare you try to betray me like this" he says making Andrew scoff.

"Like how you betrayed Taylor?"

He was grabbed by the neck and pinned against the wooden bookshelf, he hissed in pain.

"How dare you!" Mike snarled in his face, Andrew kicked him in the crotch making the beta to gasp in pain and fall to his knees.

"You seem to forget something about me Mike, i am not Taylor, if you think your position here matters well it doesnt, you're just a beta who has a vendetta against a pack that did nothing but care and provide for you" Andrew says rubbing his throbbing neck.

Mike growled at him, his eyes turned bright red making Andrew gasp. He smirked seeing his reaction.

"Are you shocked Andrew?" He says in a deep raspy voice, Andrew takes a step back.

"Mike, what happened to your wolf?" He asks in disbelief. Mike laughs maniacally.

"I got an upgrade you like it?" He asks, red fire formed on his hand, Andrew ran to the door, the door opened and he fell to ground screaming in pain. The skin on his back burnt to a crisp.

"You thought you could disrespect me in MY pack Andrew? Then you were wrong" he says, Andrew looks at him with pleading eyes, the last thing he saw were the bright red fire flames coming towards his eyes.

Rita, Toby, Nate and Andy were in the living room sitting in silence, Toby's heartbeat hasn't calmed down, he feels like something big is about to happen and he doesn't know if it's a good or bad thing.

"I'm sure everything is fine" Rita says trying to lift up his spirit, Toby smiles and nods.

"You're right, we should relax and watch some tv" he says grabbing the remote, he switches on the tv and they watch Killing Eve.

Nate held his mate's hand and kisses it, Rita smiles watching them.

"You guys really make a great couple" she says, Andy nods in agreement.

"I agree"

Toby turns to Andy and pokes his sides.

"What about you and Benjamin huh" he teases making Andy blush, Rits gasps.

"You and Benjamin? Oh wow" she laughs, Andy blushes even more hearing his friends tease him.

"Well i like him okay, it was meant to be...literally" he says making them all laugh.

"I wish i had a mate too" Rita playfully pouts, Toby pats her knee.

"I'm sure there's a girl out there waiting for you" he says, Rita smiles.

"How do you do that?" She asks, Toby tilts his head to the side.

"Hmm?"

"The way you comfort people...it comes easy for you" she says making him nod.

"Oh that, I fi-"

He was interrupted by loud lightning strikes outside making them all jump.

"I think the lightning hit something" Andy says making them all nod.

"I felt the ground shake" Nate says.

"Let's hope its not something bad" Toby whispered.

The three wolves walked to the north border, this was the place Taylor died, the place where the wolves of the Black moon pack feared the most.

"Everything seems okay here also" Dan says coming back to join the group, no one had been hurt during the storm, they were just shaken up by the loud thunder and strong winds. Max smiled hearing this.

"That's great, let's go ba-"

Lightning strikes erupted from above, the dark clouds flashed blue as lightning struck 5 times at the same time, a figure appeared through the lightning strikes making the three wolves gasp.

Max's heartbeat was skyrocketing as he watched the person he thought he lost appear infront of him, his knees began to shake as the figure came closer. Dan was frozen in place seeing this while Benjamin was shaking.

"Is that...."

"It can't be...."

"How...."

Max's vision got blurry before he fainted and plummeted to the ground.
