He gasped for air as he sat up on the hospital bed, his pounding against his chest in panic, what really happened to him?

"Are you alright?" He turned to see the owner of the voice and he sighed.

"What happened to me?" He asks, the nurse sighs and hands him a mirror.

"Mike....i mean alpha....burned your right eye off, we tried to save it but it was too late...." he says making him freeze, the argument he had with Mike, he drops the mirror to the floor.

"He.....he did this to me?" He asks quietly, the nurse nods with a sigh.

"The alpha has changed alot, he told us that the Black moon pack is being led by an omega but from what i heard the omega died so what's the use of going to war with them" he asks, Andrew nods, the nurse had a point.

"I think it's something deeper than that, does anyone know I'm still alive?" He asks making the nurse shake his head, he smiles.

"Keep it that way, i have to send a message to Black moon pack....personally."

"Is he okay?"

"Obviously not, he just fainted give him some room to breathe"

They sigh and stand up, Toby stirs and wakes up, he sees people looking at him and he keeps his head down,

"Toby, are you okay?" Nate asks worriedly. Toby smiles and nods.

"Just had a panic attack nothing much" he says, the lightning that struck made him more nervous and very anxious.

"Here" Andy hands him a glass of water, Toby takes it and downs it in seconds. He sighed.

"I'm okay guys...really" he says making them nod, Rita sits back down.

"I don't know what i would tell Max if..." she trailed off, her being Toby's bodyguard makes things harder for her, she cannot account for anything bad that happens to the omega when he's not in her watch and it was starting to stress her out.

"But nothing happened, Rita I'm okay, trust me" he says confidently, she smiles and nods.

The doors busted open, a gush of strong wind blowing the cold air into the house, but seeing Dan and Benjamin carrying an unconscious Max, made the cold irrelevant.

"Get Vera and Ryan now!" Benjamin says, Andy dashes out the kitchen door and runs straight to the pack hospital.

"What happened?" Toby asks in panic, Dan looks at Benjamin and they exchange a look.

"I know that look, spill" Rita says, eventhough she's been living here for a few months she has picked up the two wolves' gestures and signals. Dan sighs.

"We sa-mmmm" his mouth was covered by Benjamin's hand. Benjamin shakes his head and nudges towards the door.

Rita and Toby look at the direction and Toby gasps, there stood someone he thought he'd never see again, he took a shaky step forward.

Taylor's heart broke seeing Toby like this, the disbelief and fear in the boy's eyes was enough of a guilt trip, he exhaled a shaky breath, his eyes glistening.

"Toby" he whispered. Tears flowed down his cheeks as he ran up to him and hugged him tightly.

"Dad..." he whispered making Taylor's heart leap.

"Who's that?" Nate whispers looking at Taylor and Toby hugging and crying ahead. Rita shrugs,

"His dad, i think" she says.

Ryan and Vera come inside the room and froze seeing Taylor.

"What are you doing standing there your alpha needs help!" Andy shouts but they don't move, their eyes glued on the wolf infront of them.

"Is that..." Vera says making Ryan nod.

"The Omega prime has returned"

"I need your smartest omegas, those who don't pose as a threat but they're lethal as they come" He says, the person infront of him nods.

"I'm on it, when do you plan to set out" he asks.

"In two weeks, i want to savor every moment of torture i put that pack through and when i had enough, I'll kill them one by one" he says, his hand gripping the arm rest of his throne tightly.

"Understood" the man stands and bows before leaving. Mike picks up a picture of Max and trails a finger on his neck.

"Max...you'll regret taking my spot" he slaps the picture on the table and he stands up, he walks to the window and gazes at the mountain ahead.

"And your pack will also be mine"

He opened his eyes, his vision was blurry before it cleared, he found himself on the couch and he sat up, he looked around the room and saw the worried faces of his pack members, he smiles seeing Toby and....Taylor?

He jumps up and walks towards them, he grabs Taylor by the hand and pulls him out of the room, they found themselves in the alpha office.

He closed the door and locks it, his heart beating like crazy, he gulped looking at his mate.

"Taylor..." he whispers, his hand touching his cheek. Taylor shivered feeling the sparks he hasn't felt in a very long time, he nods with his eyes closed.

"It's me baby...i missed you so much" he says tearing up. Max hugs him tightly, his nose in the crook of his scent, he inhaled deeply, his wolf purred in content.

"You have no idea what we went through without you" he says. Taylor nods.

"It was Mike...but you already figured that out" he says. Max nods and pulls away from the hug, he wipes off his mate's tears and smiles.

"You have no idea how much i missed seeing your sparkling eyes" he says making Taylor blush.

"And you have no idea how much i missed seeing your sexy self" he says trailing down a finger down his chest. Max smirks and pins him against the wall kissing him, a kiss full of passion and bliss, a kiss that reminded Taylor why he fell in love with his mate, a kiss they never knew they yearned for until now.

"I want you" he whispered making Taylor shiver.

"I'm all yours"

"Do they know that the alpha office isn't sound proof?" Dan says as he sat down, the moaning across the room was getting more loud, Benjamin laughs.

"Hey, it's been months since he got any, let him relieve himself" he jokes.

Rita and Nate walk in the living room, Nate blushed as he sat down.

"Okay, I'm assuming that's Taylor" Rita says making the two betas nod.

"I guess he's the goddess's favorite" Dan teases.
