It's early morning and the wolves of Black moon pack have gathered in their ceremonial hall, today was the day Bill was being executed.

"How can he betray the alpha like that?"

"I know right, we found him here and yet he did this?"

"Wasn't he the one who came here as a refugee?"

Bill kept his head hung low as he walked by, he heard everything people were saying, he feels ashamed, everything he's done was because of his selfish reasons and now his fate has been sealed. He stopped at the front, people stepping further away from him.

Taylor and Max stepped on the stage. Last night, Max had tried to reason with Taylor and it was no use, the omega had decided and his wolf had agreed. He knows it should be done but, it doesn't sit well with him.

"We're gathered here to enforce punishment on one of our own" Taylor said, his eyes locked on Bill. Taylor actually feels guilty, he doesn't want to cause harm to another omega but it has to be done, he just hopes that the pack doesn't label him as a cruel alpha, he sighs quietly.

"Bill, confess your sins" he said, Bill took a shaky breath, what's the use of telling lies anymore, he's going to die and that's final.

"I, Bill......helped in the assassination of the alpha" he said making people gasp, his mother looked at him with a look he has never seen before and that was the look of disappointment, he watched his own mother leave the hall with Dr Ryan on her side.

"Dear moon goddess....forgive my sins and welcome me in the spirit realm" he said quietly.

"As the alpha i have decided...." Taylor says ending the murmuring in the hall, Bill's heart was racing waiting to hear his fate.

"Off with his head"

"Black moon pack have executed one of their own" a wolf told him making him choke on his drink, he coughed and took deep breaths.

"What do you mean they executed, they don't kill wolves as punishment" he says. The young man takes out his phone and shows him a video, it was that of Bill being executed, Mike froze seeing that.

"When was this?" He asks

"3 hours ago" the man replied,Mike stood up and started to pace.

"So Max has grown balls to even enforce capital punishment in his pack?" He inquires, his mind racing with questions. The young man shakes his head.

"It was his mate....Taylor" the name alone gave Mike goosebumps.

"What did you say?"

"I said....it was his mate Taylor" Mike shakes his head, it can't be, he watched Taylor die.

"When did he return?" He asks, the young man shrugs.

"I don't know, but i heard he came back stronger than before"

"No....it can't be...." he started to think about what could've happened, how did Taylor survive?

The young man slowly left leaving Mike alone, he walked to his friends.

"I suggest we bounce and find another pack" he says.

"And why would we do that?" One of his friends asks.

"Remember Black moon pack? Their alpha whose an omega has returned and from what I've seen, he doesn't show any mercy"

"What do you want us to do then?"

"By midnight, we take along those who want to come as well, it's time we get on the right side of fate"

"Agreed"

"Vera....I'm sorry" Taylor says with glistening eyes, Vera smiled weakly and hugged him.

"It's okay...he'll always live in my heart...i just hope the goddess has mercy on his wolf" she says. Taylor nods.

"I hope so too"

"You're an alpha...don't feel bad for the decisions you take, we know what you're doing is for the well being of the pack" she says, Taylor nods.

"Thank you for understanding and for everything you've done for this pack"

"It's a pleasure serving everyone of you, now go....go catch that son of a bitch" she says making him laugh.

"I promise"

"Very well"

"Benjamin" he moaned feeling his knot inside him, Benjamin bit on his neck officially marking him as his mate, Andy bit him back, his fox purring with pleasure.

"We're one"

"Forever"

They sealed their mating with a kiss.

"I cannot believe wolves chop people's heads like in the medieval times" Nate said remembering the incident that occurred in the morning. Toby sighed and nods.

"Our pack is known for being peaceful and more disciplined...it's a shame someone we knew made the pack's reputation go down the drain, that's why Dad had to do that. To earn respect from other packs as well" he says. His mate nods and lays next to him.

"Do you....want to make out or something" he asks quietly. Toby blushes and faces his mate.

"I'd like that...sorry for making you wait" he says, Nate shakes his head.

"I understand, we're still young after all...but kissing can't hurt right?" He says making Toby nod.

Nate smiles and climbs on top of his mate, their lips connected with a deep passionate kiss. Toby moaned feeling Nate's tongue exploring every crook and crane in his mouth. His warm hands roaming up and down his sides. He pulls away and licked his lips.

"That was..."

"I know"

"Taylor, we haven't spent alot of time together, since you came back...you've been focusing on this whole Mike thing"

"Our pack is facing an enemy and you're here thinking of sex, are you kidding me?"

"Taylor....that's not what i meant....would it hurt you to spend time with me...your mate?"

"Max, that man killed my child, your daughter, you wouldn't understand because you weren't there"

His words struck him to the core, he staggered backwards and leaned against the wall. It's true, he wasn't there for his mate but he wants to now...why doesn't his mate allow him to.

"Taylor...she was my daughter too..." he said quietly, Taylor turned around.

"Max...I'm sorry....it's just....it's just"

"It's okay....listen....I'm sleeping in the spare room tonight....i think you need time to cool off"

"Max...don't leave"

"It's for the best"

He closed the door behind him, Taylor sighed sadly, Autumn was whining in his head. His heart ached and he wondered what was his mate going through at the moment. He realizes that he has been selfish, he neglected his duty as a mate and he feels like he failed.
