He walked in the gardens alone, the wind making the trees rustle around, he sighed as he sat on a nearby boulder.

"Dear moon goddess, is my child okay? I miss him, remember to tell him i love him" he whispers.

"Taylor? What are you doing here?" Max asks, Taylor smiles at him.

"Just getting some air...listen Max...there's something i have to tell you" he says. Max looks at his mate and all he sees is distress and hurt.

"Is everything okay?" He asks.

"I.....I was pregnant" he starts making Max freeze, he turned to face him and all he saw was Taylor in tears.

"W-was?" He asked, Taylor nodded,

"Remember the night we shared before the next morning i fainted and went to meet the goddess?" He says making Max nod, it was the first time they...

"Did...did the baby make it?" He ask, Taylor exhales a shaky breathe as he looked ahead.

"I had twins, boy and girl...the boy made it but....the girl....she was born with a bullet on the side of her head so....^sniff^....she died a week later....I'm so sorry" he says crying into his hands, he feels like it's his fault. The assassination was because of him, if he wasn't careless he would've seen it coming.

"Taylor, babe...it's not your fault, it was Mike's, he killed our baby" he says. His wolf was whining in his head because he wasn't there for his mate when he went through all this trauma and yet he had the strength to smile and make them laugh, all he wants now is to avenge his baby girl.

"Promise me something Max"

"Anything"

"When we get him....i want him to burn"

The following morning, black moon pack was in high spirits, the return of their alpha was enough for them to be happy on a Monday morning. Nate groaned grabbing his backpack.

"School? Again? Why?" He whined, Toby glared at him.

"We're kids, what are we supposed to do?" He shrugs, he grabbed his pink backpack and went downstairs with his mate.

Downstairs, Taylor was waiting patiently, he smiled when he saw the young couple.

"Ready for school?" He asks making Nate groan.

"Noo, i want to stay in my mattress" he says making Taylor confused.

"Are there no beds? Toby did you ruin your bed?" He asks, Toby shakes his head.

"No...i just don't trust my wolf" he says, Taylor smiles.

"You should, your wolf is a part of you, if you can't trust him with your mate what about during an emergency?" He asks, Toby never thought of it that way, he sighs and looks at Nate.

"Want to sleep on the bed with me tonight?" He asks, The human blushed and nodded. Taylor laughed.

"You guys make an adorable couple, now hurry, go to the car while i grab my coffee, i want to see this school" he says.

"Oh wow" he gasped, he parked his maybach in the school parking lot and took in his surroundings.

"alright dad, see you later, we get out at 3 don't forget" Toby says, Taylor smiles and nods.

"Aye aye captain" he teases.
