"Mom I told you already. I. Don't. Want. A. Party." I stood up and walk towards the mirror. I brushed my hair.
"No hija! Me and your dad already paid millions in here, now, get changed!" I rolled my eyes and finished brushing up my hair.
"Maligo ka na, papaakyatin ko na sila dito."
"Mo—." I protested.
"Esperionne!" she shouted.
"Fine!" She smiled to my answer. There's no use anyway for protesting. Ipipilit lang ni mommy ang gusto niya.
She took a step and kissed me on my left cheek. She tugged my hair at the back of my ear.
"This is for your own good, my dearest."
I just smiled weakly kahit na hindi ko naintindihan yung sinabi niya.
Pumasok ako sa banyo at naligo, ginawa ko lahat ang bilin ni mommy na mag-freshen up dahil maraming dadating na pamilya dito sa aking birthday party.
"My Esper!" Jenello, my mom's make-up artist and stylist, gave me a kiss on both of my cheeks.
I just smiled.
Inilabas niya ang mga gown na susuotin ko. Daig ko pa ang maging debutant sa limang gown na kailangan kong isuot.
