I felt uncomfortable as we walk towards the cafe's parking lot.
"Uhm Ian, I can call my driver if you want." I suggested shyly.
"Ako ang sumundo sayo kaya ako rin dapat ang maghahatid sayo pauwi. Gusto kong safe kang makauwi." pinagbuksan niya ako ng pinto and slid myself to the shotgun seat.
We stayed silent in the whole ride. Nang makarating kami sa gate pinagbuksan niya ulit ako para makababa. I said my thanks to him.
Couple of seconds have been passed pero nakatayo pa rin siya sa harapan ko. I wondered kung meron pa siyang gustong sabihin.
"Someday you will get hurt the same way like I do Esper."
My eyes widened. Is he putting a curse on me?!
Nagulat siya sa reaksiyon ko. " Oh no, no, that's not like what you're thinking Esper. Ang ibig kong sabihin ay mararanasan mo ding masaktan lalo na kapag mahal mo talaga ng sobra ang isang tao. Minahal din kita ng sobra Esper kaya nasaktan ako ng ganito but I still wishing for your happiness." He smiled and gave me a word that I can't forget...
"Kahit hindi na ako basta masaya ka."
