Chapter 34

"NO" I shot up in a cold sweat panting.

"Hey, you're okay" Nastu placed a hand on my back.

"What, what's happening" I looked around at the dark room, I looked at the clock on the end table and it was 3 am.

"You had a nightmare" he leaned over and grabbed the water, "Here, drink this"

"Thanks" I took it out his hand and opened the bottle "I'm sorry" I brought the bottle to my lips and drank some.

"For what" he twisted his face.

"Waking you up" I closed the bottle and put it on the nightstand again "Changing your entire life" I laid back down.

"You don't need to be sorry" he pushed some hair out of my face "Go back to sleep" he laid down and closed his eyes and I did the same.

I woke up but this time I was alone and the room was filled with sunlight. I didn't want to move, I  laid in bed for about an hour staring at the wall. "Lucy? you awake?" someone came in the room but I couldn't see who it was since my back was towards them. I didn't turn I just stayed still, the person walked around the bed and stood in front of me. "Good morning sleepy" Mira smiled. "Natsu had to go to the office, Levy is in class and you have a class starting in about an hour" she looked at her watch."I'll be back in about 5 minutes, I just have to make sure your breakfast is ready and then I'll be back." she skipped off and out of the room. I pushed the covers off and started walking over to the bathroom, I walked over to the the door that Levy went into to get my clothes yesterday. It was a huge walk in closet with everything organized by color and category. I grabbed a new sweatshirt and pulled it on and grabbed a pair of slip on vans and walked out the room and made my way downstairs.

"Where's my laptop?" I asked my voice cracking and my throat sore. 

"It's right here" she lifted up a new satchel with my laptop and papers. 

"Thanks" I let out grabbing it and throwing it over my shoulder. I took a hair tie off my wrist and tied up my hair before sitting at the island and food was placed in front of me "I'm not that hungry" I sighed picking up a fork and pushing some food around my plate.

"You have to eat a little bit, I won't let you leave until you eat something" she crossed her arms. I grabbed a piece of toast and bit into it.

"I'll take the coffee to go" I took another bite of the toast and watched as Mira poured my coffee into a metal to go cup and added a bit of cream and sugar. 

"Here you go" she held out the cup "The car is waiting for you out there and after class you have a meeting with your landlord about the apartment" I walked towards the front door with my coffee and my bag.

"Bye Mira" I called walking out the house and walking to the car. I didn't make any small talk with the driver, I sat in the backseat and stared out the window. The day went by in a blur, one minute I was in class the next I was selling my apartment, somehow I ended back at the house and was in bed.

************************************** 4 days later ********************************************

I stayed in bed for what felt like years. I would get up from time to time to use the bathroom and work on my project. Eventually I finished the project and had nothing to do. 

"Lucy please" Natsu sat on the edge of the bed "you need to eat, you've just been laying here and pushing away your food"

"I'm not hungry" I looked at him.

"It's been 4 days" he shot off the bed and ran his hands over his face.

"Well I'm sorry I'm such an inconvenience for you" I sat up and hit the bed with my fist "I'd leave but I have no where to go, you made sure of that" I pointed my finger at him.

"All I'm asking is for you to eat I'm not asking you to have children" he fought "This was the safest place for you".

"Well I don't want to I'm not hungry" I shouted "It feels like a prison, I can't do anything without someone knowing and then stopping me".

"We're getting you help" he pointed his finger at me and started walking towards the door. 

"Fuck you" I yelled throwing a pillow at him "I don't need your stupid fucking help" I choked tears welling up in my eyes.

"I love you but somethings wrong and I know it" his voice was faltering, "I can't sit here and watch you self destruct" he slammed the door behind him.

"Fuck you" I yelled again throwing my head back onto the pillows. I slowly drifted off to sleep thinking of what just happened and didn't wake up until the next morning. I woke up and turned in my bed to find it empty for the 6th day in a row. 

"Hey" Natsu walked in the door but left it open, "I have some good news and some bad news." he sat on the bed and looked at me, "Good news is that we have a case against Sting and by the time you get back he should be long gone."

"Get back?" I asked sitting up "What are you talking about?"

"For the next month or so you will be at a home with a full time therapist, they can take care of you better than we can here" he looked down and grabbed my hand.

"You're getting rid of me?" I snatched my hand away "You told me you wouldn't leave me" 

"This is temporary, you'll be home in no time and better than ever" he explained "You'll be healthier, happier, normal again" he reached out to me again.

"Normal?" I pulled away "I'm sorry I'm such an inconvenience and such a handful because I was raped" I poked myself in the chest "You weren't there" I pointed at him "You don't get to tell me how to feel, how to cope" I spat. My chest was heaving up and down rapidly as I glared at him "I'm not going anywhere and you can't make me" I clenched my teeth.

"You have to" he looked towards the door and Gray walked in.

"What's he doing here" I asked backing into the head board. Gray walked over to me and grabbed one of my arms. "No" I tried to pull away he threw me over his shoulder and started walking out "NO" I yelled hitting his back, I watched Natsu walk past him and unlock the front door and then Gray placed me in a car with a suit case.

"I love you" Natsu said in barley a whisper. I looked out the window and saw Mira, Lis, Levy, Gray,  and Natsu all standing in front of the house waving. I looked away and looked forward at the two men dressed in white, one driving and the other in the passenger seat.

"FUCK YOU" I yelled hitting the window as we pulled off and away from Natsu's house.
