"BOKUTO SAN!"

The whole crowd from Fukurodani froze.

Bokuto swore he heard that voice before, he also knew it was never so unusually loud. When he saw that it was Seikan, his owl feathers started shaking.

Akaashi, who was about to serve, dropped the ball from his hand.

"I've never heard that voice"

"It's so divine!"

"That's someone from our school"

"Is that-"

"SEIKAN???"

Seikan was absolutely sure that if she looked around she'd be the most embarrassing person to ever be in existence. She pushed all her thoughts away for once and looked at his baby face.

"GANBATTEKUDASAI!" Her soft, pleading voice resonated straight under his skin, on every single nerve tip. She didn't know what happened to him but she wasn't having it. She knew his full potential and there was no way she was gonna let him waste it.

The coach took it as his cue to switch Bokuto back in. As much as his team was strong all around, they still needed Bokuto for the win... and right now, the score difference was pathetic.

"I'm sorry" he apologised to his team but when they saw the smirk on his face they knew he did a 180 there "Akaashiii, toss for me" a bright smile replaced his frown.

Seikan's eyes shone in delight when he propelled himself in the air for his first spike. His perfect form, those muscles, his yummy arms-

She shook her thoughts away. He was so graceful even as his heavy arm spiked a flawless line shot and Fukurodani was back in spirits. The whole crowd from school was now cheering with a deafening roar. They were revived from the death they'd faced not moments ago. HE was now the Anubis. And she was his.

Akaashi sent a silent thanks her way. She saved them from a humiliating loss. She fixed Bokuto in a way nobody could. Every time she pushed him high, he didn't need constant motivation like he did otherwise. She was his perfect catalyst.

She intently eyed him as he fearlessly dashed through the court like the ace he was. He didn't falter, he didn't panic even a pinch. Anyone on the court who had seen the score difference were losing hopes until their ace stepped back in.

When she saw Akaashi jump on him after their victory a small smile threatened to form on her face. It wasn't her signature smirk and it scared her. She quickly scurried outside before anyone else saw her. She smelled the wet soil as soon as she reached the doors of the stadium, she slowly walked outside to see the dark sky that reflected her heart and soul. When the first drop of rain touched her cheek she camouflaged with the stormy weather.

She let the rain damp her hair, her clothes weren't as airy and dry either. She closed her eyes taking in the feeling but opened them just as fast when she felt something being wrapped around her.

"SEI CHAN! You'll catch a cold!!"

She flinched with how he glowed against the loomy background.

"I didn't think you'd come back for me" his dejected face was going to haunt her for the next few days. "I know its hard for you to open up to someone..." he hesitated "It's okay if you... like him"

The rain had flicked his hair back down and he looked like a whole different person. The fabric of his clothes hugging all of his sculpted goodness made her legs tingle.

"I told this to you before and I will again." He didn't realise how he was struggling to talk. The words raced out of his mouth like an ostrich stampede.

"I like you. More than I did yesterday. And it's been a few days now so I really like you a lot. Your voice is the most beautiful sound I've heard and your eyes are the death of me. It's okay if you like him, I'll still be here, all you've to do is tell me a word and I'll drop everything to come get you-"

He stopped yapping when he felt her tug him down by his collar to kiss his cheek. She was embarrassed seconds after and tried to run away.

"Sei chan..." he held her wrist, only to double her embarrassment. "You forgot the other cheek"

Her face was red, she refused to look him in the eye. He gently nudged her chin so she'd look at him "How can you forget what I tell you every single day?" He cooed "Eyes up here, princess."

She just realised that there was no way to escape, his beefy arms were wrapped around her and her hands were on his hard chest. "I could take my shirt off if you want a closer look"

She'd never felt so attacked before. Her cheeks were crimson with how much she blushed. He gently kissed her forehead "You're beautiful. Ever since the day I first saw you" he kissed all the way down her nose but stopped when her lips were next. He cupped her face and gently kissed her other cheek, trailing soft kisses until the edge of her rosy lips. Her hands clenched the clothing against his chest as he pressed her closer to him "Let's get you warm before you catch a cold"

Bokuto's grandmother was stunned to see them drenching like they just got out of a swim.

"Oh, dear! You'll catch a cold" she reached for Seikan first and Bokuto didn't mind it at all. He'd be pouting if it were someone else.

She pulled her knees together and hid some of her face from view while she sat on the couch in his clothes.

"Say, did he ask you out???" His nosy grandmother was tired of her grandson already.

As soon as she her lips parted to answer she slightly jumped in her seat as she felt the warm blanket being draped around her and Bokuto flopped into the couch to sit right next to her, nuzzling into in the warm blanket he had around him "How can I ask her out without my Obaasan as witness??" He smiled.

"Since when did you do that??? I didn't know about the other three at all. I saw one in your room, the other one..." she tried to recall, failing to grasp the horror on Seikan's face "You were kissing her already, before you even introduced her to me and the third one... oh! I don't want to tell" she raised her hands in defeat.

Bokuto was convinced that whatever little chance he had with Seikan was blown away at the speed of light "Gee! Thanks!!" He scowled.

"But Seikan, my grandson is a gem"

"He is" she smiled. Bokuto's scowl drooped. He saw her like he saw his favourite food. Barbecue. He threw his blanket away and got down on both his knees before her "Say..." his longing, curious eyes peered into her lustrous ones.

"If I asked you out..." he asked her like he asked a serious doubt in class "Would you say yes?"

Her eyes moved away from his face before she hesitantly nodded and his heart took a giant leap into an active volcano.

"Obaasan..." he said, still looking at Seikan's flushed face in all seriousness "I hope you met my girlfriend"
