"Taro!! Let me change your dressing!!!" His grandmother said as he struggled away from her.

"Please get away from me!" he was already uncomfortable living with a stranger and it had barely been a few days after he was discharged from the hospital.

"Koutaro, it's just Obaasan" she woefully tried to remind him but in vain. "Let me change your bandages-"

"NO!" He pulled away from her and she'd never felt worse "S-Sei chan..."

"I'll call Sei chan, I promise, if you just let me-"

"No! Please" his hands were trembling. The new place which he didn't remember as his home made him very uncomfortable and living with a stranger made him as anxious as a toddler with a sugar rush.

"Bokuto san..." Seikan's voice made his anxiety subside a little "What's wrong?" She rushed to cup his face "You okay?"

"Where did you go?" He had tears welling in his eyes and she hadn't felt worse "I'm sorry" Seikan apologised "I went home to change, are you alright?"

"She's bullying me" he innocently said.

"That's just your Obaasan." Seikan assured him "Its okay" she knew just how much his grandma would be hurting and mouthed a silent apology

"It's okay" his grandma sat beside them "As long as he's comfortable, it's... okay"

Seikan gently medicined his wounds as he watched her with a hint of worry apparent on his face. "I'm sorry I keep looking for you I don't know what else to do"

"Don't worry. Let's get you better first, okay?" She said dressing his wounds with fresh bandages.

"Okay" he whispered.

"You need to eat first and then take your medicines" she reminded him and he nodded.

Bokuto ate the porridge without any complaints and didn't speak a word as she tucked him in his bed.

His grandma broke down in the living room a while after he fell asleep. "I'm sorry" Seikan tried to assure her the best she knew.

"I hope he regains his memory soon" she sniffled "He's all I have..."

"He'll be okay" Seikan assured her "its Bokuto san"

After spending some time with her grandma she finally dragged her feet back home.

"Where had you been?" Her father was watching the evening news "You're late"

"I'm sorry" she held back her yawn "My friend had an accident and I had to help a little"

"Oh, I'm sorry. Is your friend alright?"

"He's lost some of his memory and we hope it's temporary" that was the most conversations she'd had with her father.

"I understand why you have to stay out late but please keep me updated on your whereabouts"

"I will" she said before heading back to her room.

The next morning she hurried to his place before he woke up. "Am I late!??" She rushed, only to find him still sleeping and sighed in relief.

"No, he's still asleep" his grandma said but sat with her on the couch... was Kiara.

"You should leave" Seikan said.

"But I'm here to help with his memory, I was his girlfriend. He loved me. I'm sure he'll remember somet-"

"I appreciate it but I don't think it's a good id-"

"Sei chan!"

That was her cue. That was all she ever cared about.
