21 (Bothered)

"How was your day?" Tanong niya. Nakahiga na kami ngayon sa bed.

"Fine."

"Why do you sound like that? May problema ba, wife?" He teased.

"Stop calling me wife." Inis na sabi ko, remembering how he was happy talking to that woman a while ago as if they're the only ones existing in the world tapos ngayon i wiwife wife niya ako.

"Why? Hun gusto mo?" He teased.

"I'm going to sleep. I'm tired, bahala ka dyan." Sabi ko and turned around from him to sleep.

Today is a free day before the event. I woke up later than Van as usual. It's 8am pero naka suit and tie na siya plus, it's sunday.

"Good morning." He greeted when he saw me awake.

"K" ani ko

"Back to usual huh? Anyway, may lakad ako today so I won't be joining you during lunch. " he said. I just nodded.

When he's out of the room, i stood up and wore a sexy swimsuit. After non, I put some robe and went to the hotel's resto for breakfast.

"Hello." A voice said. It's the same guy from yesterday. He's wearing a robe like me.

"Is it okay to?" He asked pointing at the chair infront of me.

"Sure." Ani ko. Naupo siya sa harapan ko.

"Thanks pala ulit kahapon." I said.

"No problem.Mag sswiming ka rin ba?" Tanong niya.

"Oo."

"Likewise. Sabay na tayo mag breakfast and pumunta sa pool. If that's okay with you."

"No problem, wala naman akong kasama e."

"Good. Let's hangout then."

Nang matapos na kami, lumabas na kami sa resto. Sakto naman, papasok si Van kasama si Violet though hindi ko nalang siya pinansin tutal medyo malayo pa naman sila.

Kaya naman pala bihis na bihis kasi mag memeet ulit sila ni Violet. Tsk. Ba't pati sunday need nila mag meet? For sure hindi na work related yan tsk.

Nang makarating sa pool, I took off my robe and went for a swim. I was getting a little attention dahil siguro sa suot kong two piece but i didn't mind it.

"Wow, ang galing mo pala mag swimming." Ani ng kasama ko. He's wearing shorts, his 6 pack exposed. I haven't asked his name yet.

"Medyo, may I know your name?" Tanong ko sakanya. Kahapon at kanina pa kami magkasama pero di ko pa siya kilala.

"I'm Jared. Just call me Red. Ikaw ba?"

"Lhara."

"Nice name, and by the way can I compliment you? I just wanna say na you are sexy." He said. I felt the blush on my cheeks but I decided to hide it.

"And cute too." He added

"T-thanks."

"Lhara." A familiar voice called. Who else, malamang si Van.

"Aalis na ko Red. Tinatawag ako ng boss ko." I said to him.

"Ohh I see, take care. Can I see you later at dinner? 6pm"

"Alright." I said before going towards Van.

"Ano yun?" Tanong ko sakanya.

"Let's eat lunch" aya niya.

"Akala ko ba hindi tayo sasabay?" Tanong ko sakanya. Napasimangot naman ako bigla. Sayang nag hahangout pa kami ni Red e tsk.

"Mabilis natapos yung agenda ko. Anyway why are you wearing that?" Naka kunot noong tanong niya.

"Syempre mag sswiming ano pa ba?"

"Tsk. Cover up. Let's go eat lunch."

5:45pm

"San ka pupunta?" He asked when he saw me going out of the room.

"I'm just gonna stroll around the pool."

"Alright... samahan kita."

"No, magpahinga ka na. Bukas na ang event." Sabi ko sakanya and closed the door.

Bumaba na ako sa restaurant to have dinner with Red.

"Have a seat." Sabi niya at inofferan ako ng upuan.

"Didn't expect na you would go down here in pajamas." Ani niya sabay tawa. Well, di naman kasi big deal sakin tong mga magarang lugar na to sakin since laking yaman ako diba. And We own a bunch of buildings, even hotels. But anyway sa papa ko pala yon. Hindi sakin.

"Hahaha mag didinner lang naman eh. Did you expect me to wear something like a gown ganon?" Tanong ko. I strolled my eyes around the restaurant and indeed, the ladies are in formal attire. Naka suot pa ng mga gucci at channel.

"Oo, lahat ng ladies na inaya ko ng dinner naka formal attire. Ikaw lang yung naka pajamas." He chuckled.

"It's comfortable." I said.

"I should've worn pajamas as well if I knew you'd be wearing one." He laughed.

Maya maya a guy who just entered the room caught my attention. Si Van. Eh pano ba naman kase tumingin siya saken.

Onga pala shit. Di rin siya nag dinner kaya malamang bababa siya dito.

A little later, Violet entered the room. She's wearing an elegant dress. He saw Van and smilled. Maya maya, na upo ito sa harap ni Van. It shocked me. They seem close and when they talk, they're always smilling.

Seriously, it's fishy. Magkasama na sila kahapon, kanina, at ngayon. There must be something between them na hindi  ko alam. It's not just business. For sure.

Anyway, I just ignored them and continued eating my dinner but I can't help but be bothered. I mean, It's my first time seeing Van you know, with a woman. But ugh, ano ba pake ko? I shouldn't give a damn.
