24 (Signs Of Love)

It was 10 am when I heard my door creak. Sunday naman kaya napag isipan ko munang mag stay sa kwarto. Besides I didn't feel like going out of bed after hearing all those love advices from Rosiel and Antoinette.

"Good morning. Ba't di ka pa bumabangon? Handa na ang pagkain sa baba." Ani Van. He walked over my bed and I felt him sit beside me. I'm still under the covers.

Badump badump

Sign number 1. Malalaman mong inlove ka na kapag bumibilis ang tibok ng puso mo kapag alam mong anjan siya. Check.

"Lhara." He said and gently moved the cover away from my face.

"No." I said at sinubukang bawiin ang kumot sakanya.

"Baka nakakalimutan mong katulong kita." Sabi niya habang naniningkit ang mga mata.

"It's sunday. It's my day off." Ani ko.

"Wow, ang mga katulong pala ngayon nag dedeklara na ng sarili nilang day off."

"Uh-huh." I said. Why is he so close to me na parang wala lang sakanya?

Sign number 2, kapag malapit siya sayo at nakaramdam ka ng kaba at umiinit ang pisngi mo, Inlove ka. Check.

"Why is your face so red?" Tanong niya at tinaas ang kanang kilay. Nilayo ko ang tingin ko sakanya. I just woke up. Do I look okay? Malamang hindi... e kakagising ko lang.

Sign number 3, kapag tinitingnan ka niya at nagiging conscious ka sa sarili mo. Inlove ka. Check.

"I'm just... tired." I lamely excused.

"Are you okay tho?" Tanong niya at hinawakan ang noo ko.

Sign number 4. When he touches you, you feel extra nervous but at the same time you like it. Check.

"I see, you have a fever. Hmmm. I'll go get medicine and I'll just bring your breakfast here so you can have your breakfast in bed." He said and left a kiss on my cheek before exiting my room. What was the for?!

Sign number 5. Kinikilig ka sa gestures niya. You can't help but blush. Check

Sign number 6. You feel happy when he cares for you. Maybe.

A little later, he came back to my room with all the breakfast and stuff. Nilapat niya ito sa harapan ko.

"Ako na." I told him when he tried to feed me! My goodness ano ba pinag gagawa ng lalaking to?! Why does he make me feel this way. Why does he do that?! I hate it.

"Okay eat well." He said.

Susubo na sana ako nang mapansin kong nakatingin lang siya sakin.

"Why are you looking at me?" Mataray na sabi ko.

"You look better without make up you know. I like this view better." He said. Thank God I have fever. Dahil kung wala, baka napansin niya kung gaano ako namula sa sinabi niya.

Badump badump

"I don't care. Why don't you just watch netflix or something? Or maybe do some work." I suggested.

"Nah. I'll stay here till you become okay. But fine, I'll watch netflix while you eat." He said and grabbed the remote from my side table. He turned the TV on, set the netflix and started watching some marvel movies.

"Why are you so nice to me?" I asked after drinking my medicine.

"You're my wife. What else?" He said.

"It's just in the papers..."

"You're still my wife." He said. I don't really know where this conversation is going. But I do know that whenever I get fevers, I become really talkative.

"But you don't love me..." I said.

"Hushh... Just rest." He whispered, fixed my blanket and planted a kiss on my forehead.

"Stop doing things that make me confused... it's not good for my heart. Call the doctor, tell him there's something wrong my my heart. I hate you." I said, not really knowing what I really said because I feel like I'm floating because of fever. Hopefully, I didn't say something crazy.

I heard him chuckle.

"I'm gonna be that doctor. I'll make you feel better." He said. I felt him lay beside me, securing me in an embrace. My head on his chest.

I don't remember much. I fell asleep.
