//Jack//
It was only Tuesday and I was waiting for Johnson to pick me up for school, I went downstairs to kill some time.
"Morning Jack," my father said.
I looked over to him and gave him a slight nod in response. I didn't get much sleep last night, Elena's words running through my head the entire night.
Of course I wanted to be with her and I've told her that a million times. However, she did have a point, I had to show her that i really wanted her but how on god's green earth am I supposed to prove to Elena that I want her.
Every time I try to make things right, I end up screwing it up. Being stubborn as ever, she didn't give me a chance to explain the whole situation with Stacy and the janitors closet. It was a huge misunderstanding.
"How are you and Elena going," he inquired.
"We aren't," I frowned.
"Oh I'm sorry son, if you want to talk about it," he paused and placed a hand on my shoulder, "I'm here for you Jack."
I gave him a small smile, "Thanks Dad, but I gotta get to school," I said walking towards the door.
It's not that I didn't want to tell him, I just didn't want to feel the pain at the moment. I know my Dad cares for Elena, therefore I prefer to spare him the details as to why we aren't together anymore.
Partly because I know it's my fault and he'd be disappointed in me. He'd tell me to try fix it and to just give her time and that she'll come around.
He's always been optimistic.
"Fight for her Jack," he stated.
I didn't respond and headed towards the front door. Johnson arrived about two minutes later and we were both off to school.
Walking towards the school entrance I saw Elena and David all over each other. I clenched my fists, holding back the urge to ram him in the face.
The worst part of this all is that she doesn't know who he really is. I want to tell her but she'll just think I'm making it up.
David leaned in and kissed her on the cheek before heading inside the building. I took this as my chance to talk to her.
"Hey," she smiled softly.
"Hi," she breathed with a small smile.
To say she looked beautiful today would be an understatement. She always looks beautiful but for some reason she looked extra beautiful.
She isn't like the other girls in this school. Ally isn't either, which I guess is why they are inseparable.
Elena was wearing black skinny jeans along with a cream knitted sweater. Her flats matched her sweater and contrasted with her black scarf.
Besides maybe mascara, she had no makeup on, leaving her freckles on display. Her silver nose ring, that I'm oh so in love with, complementing her cute little nose.
"Are checking me out," she smirked.
"I...I-uh... no, I-I was just...." I stuttered.
I could feel my cheeks burning. She kept that stupid smirk on her face and looked me up and down as well, in a playful manner.
She tried keeping a serious face but miserably failed, breaking out into laughter. She tried to cover up her laugh but failed once again. Relieved she was only joking, I joined her, laughing.
"God I missed that smile," I voiced my thoughts, keeping my smile.
She stopped laughing but kept a small smile, but then of course it turned back into that stupid smirk of hers. Knowing Lana, she was probably thinking of something embarrassing to say to me.
