the four horses run fast to the broken down castle that lay in the middle of the meadows and they slowed down as they got closer to it and all of the girls looked at the building in awe
"oh" Kaze whispers out as she admires the building and then she turns to Nimue "we will escort you in"
"No," Nimue says and gives them a soft smile "i want to meet him alone. for my mothers sake, i will hear him out. But the decision is not cast in stone. He has to convince me that the fey will be protected" No one says anything and they all turn to look at the castle before nimue breaks the silence by asking "any last advice"
"Th king himself must pledge to stop Cardens raids" Kaze says and Adira nods her head
"There will be no more slaughtering of fey by the paladins and the grey monk. We need an end to this war" The weeping warrior tells Nimue and nimue nods her head
"Thats the price" Kaze says sternly
"Uther must join us in a fight against the red paladins and they weeping monk" Morgana says sharply but Adira nods her head
"No harm is to come to the weeping monk, kill as many red paladins as you wish but do not hurt the weeping monk. he is mine to deal with and mine alone" Adira tells them and they all look at her confused
"Why wouldn't you want us to hurt the weeping monk, he has killed thousands of fey" Nimue says as she looks across at the weeping warrior
"No harm is to come to the weeping monk" that is the price that must be payed in order for you to have my loyalty, i will stand by your side as long as you abide to this one term "Nimue, you must listen to the voices inside of you okay, they will guide you. I hear the voices to nimue and i am telling you now, if you do anything to try and hurt the grey monk, i will use every inch of power inside of me to stop you"
"you are a traitor" Kaze says as she looks over at the weeping warrior
"She isn't a traitor, she hasn't done anything to betray you" Allison says and glares over at maze
"it is okay child" Adira tells Allison and then turns to face Nimue "there is a profercy that i must fulfill and he is part of it, i beg of you to understand, i do not agree with what he has done and i never will forget what he has done but i just need you to trust me when i say not to kill him"
Nimue looks at her for a second and doesn't say anything but then she nods her head "Very well, but if he attacks me then i will attack back"
"that's fine" The weeping warrior tells her and nods her head "But only if he attacks YOU"
nimue hops off of her horse and lets out a sigh and they watch as she walks into the ruins
After 10 minuets Adira decides to hop off of the horse and she helps Allison down and they walk to a close tree that was giant and Adira leaned against it while Allison sat in front of her
"Why me?" Allison suddenly asks and adira looks over at her in confusion
"why what?" Adira asks her and Allison looks down at the ground and begins to play with the grass
"Out of all of the kids that you have rescued why would you choose to take me in as your apprentice?" Allison asks softly
"Theres multiple reasons child, you remind me of myself when i was younger, your a lot more polite but the fire in your eyes is the same as mine child. You are fierce. You're a survivor. Youre a fighter through and through. Little brave, breathe. there is a warrior inside of you." Adira tells her " but your kind heart reminds me of someone else Allison"
"the person who you were telling me about before?" Allison asks softly and Adira nodded her head "Did you love them?"
"yes Allison, i loved them very much" Adira tells her and Allison moves closer to Adira and sits between adiras spread out legs an she leans her back against adiras chest
"what were they like?" Allison asks and Adira lets out a sigh and looks up, small rays of light peaked between some of the gaps between the leaves in the tree and it was peaceful as they sat there
"He was kind and brave. He was strong too, and he would do whatever he could to protect those who were important to him, he was quite handsome too" Adira trails off and Allison looks up at her with a cheeky grin and Adira just begins to chuckle but she continues on "He was fair, but growing up, we had a hard life, he sacrificed a lot of things for me. People judged me because i was different and he threw away his chance of making other friends just to be friends with me. He was a good person Allison and i am sure that he still is"
"you think that he is still alive?" Allison questions and Adira begins to plait the small girls hair in different areas so it looked like her own
"I like to belive so, i hope he is" Adira replies softly and run her hand through the knoty hair gently to ensure that she didn't hurt the girl
"if you were to meet him again what do you think you would say to him" Allison asks her
"probably something stupid" Adira says with a grin
"would you tell him that you loved him" Allison asks
"Allison" Adira says and takes a long breath "many people have come and gone in my life and they didn't love me, i wouldn't let them love me. I push everyone away, you and him are the only two people i have ever loved"
"You love me?" ALlison asks in quiet shock and Adira nods her head
"i believe that you are growing on me quite fast" Adira tells her
"I love you too"
