"Come, child, we must go back now, the joining is about to begin, the green knight is returning," The weeping warrior tells the girl and puts her bow and arrows down on a rock
"But we only just got here" Allison says with a pout but listens anyways and places her bow and arrows down also
"We've been here for hours little one, i am happy that you are dedicated to your training but we must go back now, it is getting late anyways, its dangerous at night time, you don't know what could be lurking around in the forest" Adira tells the girl and Allison places her hand into the hand of the weeping warrior and gives her a soft nod before the two of them begin to make their way back to where the rest of the fey were staying and where they would be getting ready to celebrate the arrival of the green knight
"Who is the green knight?" Allison asks with a questioning look on her face but when she doesn't hear a reply she looks up to see the weeping warrior admiring the sunset in awe. The girl could tell she was happy and in her own world so she decided to stay quiet for the rest of their journey back.
"Shes so beautiful" Allison says with a smile as they watch the man and woman in front of them begin to dance happily. the fey cheered and laughed and ate and drank. they were all enjoying themselves and it was like for the moment they had forgotten about all of the worries in the world and about the nightmare lurking just outside, waiting to kill all of them
"She is, isn't she" The weeping warrior says and looks down at Allison who was sitting next to her with a wide grin on her face. Allison listens to the music and stands up while grabbing adiras hand gently in her own and began to tug on it
"what are you doing" Adira questions and Allison just chuckles
"Waiting for you to come and dance with me of course, it'll be fun" Allison says loudly so that Adira could hear her over the music which was gradually getting louder
"i don't know how to dance and i definitely don't have time for fun" Adira tells the girl and then looks away from her
"You don't have to be good at dancing to have fun, and of course you have time for fun. you are always out helping people and never get a minute to do your own thing without worrying about someone else" Allison says which causes adira to look back over at her
"For someone so young you seem to think that you are very wise and I'm starting to think that you might be right. but it is my sole purpose to make sure that everyone is okay. I enjoy saving people" Adira tells the girl who scoffs slightly and then rolls her eyes
"Come on, please dance with me, it'll make me happy" Allison whines and sticks her bottom lip out and gives adira puppy dog eyes.
Adira laughs lightly and then stands up "Fine, but don't think that you can just give me those adorable little puppy dog eyes everytime you want something. It is only working this once" Adira tells the girl and Allison just smirks cheekily up at the weeping warrior
Allison tugs on her hand and leads her down to the dance floor and they begin to dance along to the music and they fey around them watched the girl in shock. The weeping warrior was not one to be known for dancing, or having fun for that matter. She was serious and honestly quite intimidating to those around her, she never talked unless truly necessary. Allison bought out the real Adira, the Adira that hadn't been seen since she was extremely little. And Adira didn't know how to feel about that.
The music suddenly stops and whispers can be heard echoing throughout the small cave
"the green knight"
"he's here"
"the green knight is here"
"Look the green knight is here"
"Come little one" Adira says and pulls Allison closer to her as everyone begins to swarm and cheer
suddenly the green knight appears through the doorway, followed by some more fey and one of the elders goes up to the green knight who wore the mask of an animal on his face. Adira watches Nimue closely as she steps closer to the green knight
The green night pulls the mask of his face and nimue and The green night look at each other in shock and then it turns quickly into happiness
"Gawain?" Nimue asks and the green knight gives her a giant smile
"Nimue" He says and walks over to her and they both quickly rush into a hug excitedly and it warmed Adiras heart at the reuninion. There was someone that she wanted to be reunited with, and even though she had met and seen him multiple times, she couldn't tell him who she was. not until it was finally the right time Adira smiles softly as they begin to chat and then she turns away and begins to walk away from them all and Allison notices so she quickly follows after her
"No child, go back to the party. Enjoy yourself okay" Adira tells the girl and then begins to leave again but Allison follows after her
"But you're upset, i cant just let you be alone" Allison tells her with an upset look on her face and adira let out a small sigh and then turned to face the girl
"Listen child, some people are just better at being along. some people deserve to be alone" Adira tells her
"I don't think you deserve to be alone. from this day forward, i promise, that i will be by your side no matter what and stay with you through think and thin" Allison says and puts her hand on her chest where her heart is
"Allison, I go on dangerous missions almost everyday, you cannot stay with me you will get hurt" Adira tries to tell the young girl but this only frustrated her
"I thought you said to never let someone underestimate a woman" Allison says angrily as she stares up at the weeping warrior and adira looks at her in shock and doesn't say anything and then slowly begins to nod her head
"I guess i did say that, but it is different, you are just a child, you shouldn't see the horrors that i have to face everyday" Adira tells her but Allison just shakes her head
"there's nothing you can say to change my mind. From now on, i am going to be by your side" Allison says and adira just sighs
"Well what do you say we go back to the party for a little bit" Adira says and reaches her hand put for Allison to take "My young apprentice"
